Friendly staff Clean, no frills close to local amenities and beach

Amazing hotel. Stayed at loads in Guardamar, but this was by far the best. Great location, spotlessly clean, staff lovely and helpful and great value for money.

Only slight issue was the breakfast choice not the most interesting choice but all edible. We'd probably skip the 7 euro each a day next time and get breakfast in the town.

Nothing could have been better it was a great hotel

stayed here a couple of times now can't fault it .staff are very attentive and friendly.the hotel is spotless .rooms are cleaned everyday which is such a bonus pool area was perfect for us too.sunny area and shaded area . also we only had hand luggage so didn't bring beach towels but wasn't a problem they had them at reception no extra cost .perfect location right next to the beach .walking distance to town .I honestly can't say one bad thing about it .

The location was perfect, the cleanliness was excellent. We hadn't booked breakfast during our stay but on the first day we asked to pay for breakfast on entering the breakfast area and enjoyed our breakfast. The room was bright and airey with plenty of space and the choice of food on offer was reasonable. However the following morning when entering the breakfast room, firstly there was no staff member present at all and a very severe shortage of choice of food. Very limited pastries and no croissant's whatsoever ! This was despite it only being half way through the timed period for breakfast. At the time, there was not only no member of staff to assist, but no one on the nearby reception desk to query this with. This was disappointing but didn't detract from the enjoyment of both the overall quality and excellent location of your hotel. BREAKFAST dissapointing on second day (see comments)

Fabulous hotel. Staff are long servers and always cheerful. Immaculately clean everywhere. Lift. Stair lift up 5 steps to lift ( not sure if fixed wheelchair users have level access somehow to get up to the lift) Food is great. Chef makes cakes for breakfast to accompany the many choices of hot or cold foods available. Bar area serves nice tapas. Bus stop near for town and the Marina (don't confuse with Le marina which is a town- take the printed map and point for clarity) hotel is right on the sea front.

The room was spotless and cleaned everyday. The breakfast whilst presenting as basic was fabulous. Fresh cakes, juice, teas and coffees and a selection of hot eggs and bacon as well as cereal, and continental options. I could not have asked for any more. The bar service was very good and reasonably priced. Location was perfect. Very close to the beach, shops and restaurants although at this time of year there was very little open in the evening.

I could not find anything to complain about. Fantastic, location and value for money.

The Hotel Guardamar is close to all facilities. Great breakfast. It's not too big, not loud and noisy. Cleaning was excellent, and the room was a good size and a pool, too. The staff were friendly and helpful . Would definitely visit again

The room was excellent with a balcony and sea view. We used a nearby supermarket to get breakfast and enjoyed it on the balcony. This is a 2 star hotel but the cleanliness was immaculate and the attention to servicing the room was excellent. It has an indoor swimming pool and cafe bar as well as a restaurant. The food was good value but there are lots of closeby restaurants to offer choice. The best feature was the location. A 3 minute walk straight onto the beach so it was easy to go between the beach and the hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful so it made for a good stay. As well as the beach there was a fabulous park 10 minutes away that gave a beautiful walk to the port

This hotel provided excellent value for money but you should know there are some things that aren't here as a result. The TV was all in Spanish. Not unreasonable for a hotel in Spain but may affect some international travellers. It didn't bother us. There wasn't a kettle in the room so no tea for the British, however again easily dealt with. The cafe gave us hot water, teas and coffees that we took back to the room. There isn't a hairdryer in each room but you can borrow one from reception but have to take it back when you're finished. Considering the value and plus points these are minor points but worth knowing before you get there.

All the staff were so lovely, greeting you wherever our paths crossed. We had a great sea view from our room which was a lovely surprise. The bed was so comfortable and we slept really well. Room was at all times a great temperature. The location is fantastic, close to beach, shops, restaurants. Guardamar is a wonderful place to visit with lots to do and see. We didn't eat in the restaurant, so can't comment.

Very little to say in this bit. As with so many Good Value For Money Hotels the rooms could do with a bit of TLC but as I said totally expected and no way did that spoil a wonderful stay in the Hotel Guardamar. We loved everything about our stay.
