The staff could not have been more lovely, and the facility was delightful. I had not anticipated such a spacious, inviting, and charming inn. There are nooks and crannies with seating areas here and there, a large and pleasant terrace outside, and a nice bar inside. Given all the inviting places to sit and visit with friends and family, I think it would be a wonderful choice for a family gathering or a wedding party. On top of all that, the inn was immaculately clean and bright, with a good mix of antiques and contemporary comfort under beautiful vaulted ceilings. I would definitely choose to stay there again if I found myself in the area. I don't think the reviews I've read have done it justice. But for a couple of minor complaints, I'd give it a perfect score. Since the sample question asks about breakfast, I'll say that it was fine overall. Good cornetti.

The fruit juice seemed processed and was much too sweet. Apart from that, a decent if unremarkable breakfast. The air conditioning in our room was barely adequate on a warm evening, although it did help. I do wish we could have succeeded in lowering the temperature.

Lovely character property in an idyllic rural setting. Room was a good size perhaps bigger if there wasn’t the sofa which we did not need but for 2 nights it was perfect bathroom was small but had a good hot shower. Continental breakfast was good yogurt cereal fruit pastries meat cheese eggs coffee selection also good. Upstairs a covered terrace with chairs loungers tables etc it was a bit neglected but expected as out of season we used it regularly as we had small dog and we smoke so was good for our use. Private secure parking we used the bar and had wine which was lovely.

We booked last minute due to a long Italy drive and the hotel having an in house restaurant but we weren’t informed prior to committing our booking that the restaurant was closed the evening we arrived until we requested a reservation of which then we were told it would be open the second evening but it wasn’t. Again out of season so maybe expected but as we had driven so much we just wanted to relax and not have to drive to eat in the evening and be able to have wine with our meals. This should have been noted on booking.com prior to our commitment to book. We did find 2 lovely restaurants near by though that we thoroughly enjoyed. Would we stay again? possibly as the restaurant looked divine with arched ceilings and our overall stay was lovely.

Jana was extremely helpful in finding a friend to transport myself and my bicycle about 19 miles to the hotel because of very bad and personally dangerous weather. She also figured out how to get me to my next destination by public transportation again because of bad weather. The restaurant was very good as well as breakfast. They had a secure place for my bicycle during the night. The room wax fine. I got a good night’s sleep.

The location of the outlet was inconvenient for charging my phone. It was a ways from the bed so I had to get up to see what time it was. Would be nice if there was an outlet near the bed.

Initially, the room had a view to a wall; after two days we were moved to a better room with a great view to the surrounding. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Clean room, hotel also, parking, good WiFi signal.

While the breakfast was good, it was very poor in diversity and it was the same each of the six days we stayed there.

Very nice new facilities in an historic building. The room is modern and the provided breakfast is the best I've had in Italy. I am walking the Francigena, so to get there you have to go off a bit over some busy roads to get there. Not the safest. But once there, it's top notch. I also enjoyed the bar. (I didn't have dinner)

Beautiful old building in the heart of Tuscany, a pleasant room, very nice breakfast. A very large parking lot opposite the hotel. Please note that it is somewhat remote for other restaurants or bars. The terrace has a beautiful view.

It is stated on booking that the restaurant is open during your stay, but it turned out that the restaurant closes on SUNDAY, the day that most Italians go out to eat with the family.

The hotel has a large terrace with a nice view. The parking is large with plenty of parking space.

The room was smaller than it was presented in the photos. A lot of dust under the bed.

The shower room was fairly basic but good enough for our needs. The breakfast choices were limited to a cold selection/continental breakfast.
