Great location just in the middle between the town and the Cango Caves. The room was big and spacious and thanks for the milk in the fridge and cutlery. I plan to visit Oudtshoorn again and I’ll definitely stay here again. I was there to run the Cango Marathon so did not really get to use the facilities because I checked out at 3am, I did get to enjoy the pool in the evening though.

Wish there was little bit more lighting in the room as it was very big and spacious. Only the bathroom and bedside head lamp was in useable. There were lights in the room but either I did not know where to find the switch or if they were completely missing.

As we arrived, we were first approached by the very friendly dog called Lady :) she was walking in front of the owner (the friendliest host I've ever experienced). After showing us our rooms, she still had time to take us on the history of their family tree and answered our questions so easily (such a warm lady). The following day we were unable to make reservations for the braai area before 14:00 (before staff knock off) as agreed upon, due to network not being available at our venue. Did she not help us arrange the braai area, borrowed us cutlery, crockery, glasses and wood. She was just willing to make things easier for us. They are the Best. How can I forget, my friend's car didn't start the Friday Morning, they called the son to come and help jump the car. Such humanity! They are awesome!

It was sooooo cold! besides that, Nothing!

We loved staying at this beautiful, well-located property of Annelie's. We were warmly greeted on arrival and were offered insight into the region and the things to do and see. The location is great if you're looking for something quiet, but close to Karusa, the Cango caves and Buffelsdrift. It really felt like we got to live on a Karoo farm for two days.

We were happy with our stay, but I do think the shower in our room could do with a little maintenance - it is very basic (but clean) and distracts from the rest of the bathroom facilities. I also want to suggest that some water be provided along with the in-room kettle so that we do not have to fill the kettle from the tap in the bathroom. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future.

It s a lovely b and b. It s very peaceful. The property belongs to the same family for many générations. Our room was very comfortable with a lot of intimacy right in front of a pond surrounded by green végétation. The owner, full of attention, had already reserved for us ( that we could cancel if we disagreed ) a table for dinner in another property. The meal and the environment were excellent. Many thanks for everything.

Staff was very friendly. Personal interest. Lots of history with old farm cottages very well kept. Close to Congo Caves. Staff kindly booked for dinner at another venue for us.

Aircon only in one room, it was very hot in other rooms. Lack of privacy for other rooms as you need to leave the doors open. Kitchen not really suitable for cooking and they serve breakfast only. So best plan to eat out. That said we will book it again.

THE POOL was too small but overall experience was good

We loved our stay at Oue Werf Country House. We had everything we needed and the staff were super helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and cool, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the views and surroundings were beautiful and it was so peaceful. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

Never been to a cuter place with such lovely owners. We booked a little cottage on an absolute amazing property which is well mainted with beautiful flowers and lavender everywhere! This place is just lovely and an absolute recommendation for everyone who wants to relax, feel comfortable and safe :-)

Amazing location and beautiful grounds. The host was very accommodating, we had a meerkat tour at 730 am, and it was very kind of her to cook our breakfast 1 hour earlier. Thanks a lot. The food was exceptional, the bed was very comfy and we would stay there again. PS: Almost forgot, they have an amazing dog Lady!

Each room was thoughtfully equipped and elegantly prepared, ensuring a comfortable stay. I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next visit to Oudtshoorn!
