The room we had booked was absolutely fine. It's a motel so it was rather no-frills but we didn't expect a five star hotel either. Some people comment on the view - what we thought was better was going out and sitting at the marina. We were able to see some otters doing their thing. We didn't use the pool or the fitness place so we can't comment on that.

We didn't stay in the motel for too long so I can't really comment on anything bad in particular. There's not much to say in this department. The price was reasonable, the room was (if one wanted to put it more negatively) utilitarian.

I recently stayed at the West Coast Motel, and it was a fantastic experience! The location on the harbor is perfect, offering beautiful views and easy access to everything I needed. The fitness center pool was a wonderful amenity, very clean and well-maintained. My room was cozy and comfortable, making it easy to relax, and the kitchen was impressively stocked with everything I needed to prepare meals. The highlight, though, was the staff – they were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure my stay was enjoyable. I highly recommend the West Coast Motel for anyone visiting the area!

The locker rooms could have been cleaner. Lots of hair on the floor.

Lovely big room with small balcony and a view of the harbour. Excellent coffee provided in the room. Use of the laundry room which was really handy. Good location for local restaurants.

The motel had a gym which would have been great except is doesn't open till 9am, which isn't much use if you do your exercise in the morning/before breakfast and /or you're then heading out for the day. 6.30 or 7am opening would be much more useful.

Cosy accommodation with a fairly spacious room. A small corner with a sink perhaps just for warming dishes and washing up. I appreciate the beautifully furnished bathroom. The advantage is that you also have access to the fitness room, pool and sauna included. We even got extra towels for the sauna.

The indoor pool did not attract us because of the weather and occupancy. The sauna for evening relaxation was better.

Very spacious room. Super comfortable beds. Nicely stocked kitchenette. Loved that they had "quiet times". The desk staff were very helpful. I would recommend anyone planning to visit Ucluelet or Tofino to stay here. Tofino is too busy. Ucluelet is the place to be and West Coast Motel is the place to stay.

Was very relaxing and we were able to enjoy and rest up. The view from our window was great!! The staff were fantastic and the rooms was exceptionally clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay with them and look forward to coming again in the near future!! Thank you again. :)

Our curtain on our bedroom window let in the spot light from the outside light. Staff gave us a sheet to place over it and that helped lots for the second night.

Location is great. Walking distance to village node and local attractions like Red Fish or the Aquarium. Kitchenette suite was adequate and met our needs for this short visit to see family residing in Ucluelet.

More comfortable sofa set and less hard beds/pillows.

Great location, clean and tidy. The rooms are super close one to another so if you have loud neighbors it can be a bit troublesome, but I was lucky and had a great nights sleep. The rooms on the side facing the harbor have a great view and there’s even a gym.

The room felt a bit warm at night.

It was our 61st wedding anniversary and we were nicely surprised by an upgrade. Aleah went out of her way to make this happen. Thank you, Aleah. And she also recommended the Floathouse restaurant for our celebratory dinner. Excellent service all around. Thank you all.

Nothing to not like!

The motel was really good and provided just what we needed and expecting. We made use of the laundry facilities which were complimentary which was a bonus. It's location was great with just a short walk to a variety of shops, bars and services.
