Pros: Best value-for-money stay during my entire Maldives trip—paid the same price as other accommodations but with significantly better facilities and service. Larger, well-managed hotel with warm, helpful staff, and great amenities: spacious, clean rooms with balconies, and a pool for relaxing. Located on the best island I visited, with numerous beautiful natural beaches (unlike other islands with only a few artificial beaches) and plenty of coral reefs for snorkeling or diving. Also many dinning and shopping options unlike other smaller islands around. Free snorkeling equipment available and dedicated sunbeds at the beach despite being a block away. Useful tip: download the Odiapp to book ferries easily, without commission fees ($25USD per way to/fro Male vs $35USD without the app), and you can convenienly pay by card.

Cons: Not directly beachfront, though beach access is easy and the hotel provides sunbeds so not a problem at all.

We had a great stay here on the island, the beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very clean, Staff are very helpful and friendly and will help you with all your needs, Asif helped us with our excursions and anything we needed, the restaurant staff are amazing and the food is lovely and very tasty, I would highly recommend staying here, nice swimming pool here too

I dont often leave reviews but this place was such a good value I wanted to share my experience. The property is well maintained and very well managed. The staff is also nice and helpful. The best part was the food. Amazing variety and quality. Best hotel I booked in the Maldives within this price range.

We found an unexpected jewel on a nice Maldivian island. The Sky Beach has very comfortable and exceptionally clean rooms. The staff is nice, very polite and helpful. Everyone will find good food on the buffet. We loved to go into the pool. Also there are lovely beaches and restaurants very close by and a number of water sports and tours were also available. We strongly suggest going on a Nurse Shark tour! There was also a private beach area from the hotel which was relaxing and turned out to be the perfect place for taking sunset pictures. The water around the Island is perfectly blue and warm. Many thanks and see you again!

nicely furnished, liked the retractable suitcase shelf - very useful amazing and lovely staff, taking care of you to get in time to the airport and doing all possible boat bookings acceptable and varied food options. I felt relieved to eat pancakes and oatmeal for breakfast and have grilled vegetables for dinner (opposed to cabbage salads side dishes everywhere in restaurants)

the room had no window, so you are like underground not feeling if the morning has come. it was much overpriced for a 3 nights stand the pool is small and not cleaned finely the beach which is named private is small and dirty and has no good sea entrance the private beach chairs are all occupied and are close to one another since the hotel has its private beach (Which wasn’t good) there’s no service for beach chairs on a public beach, so you have to lay your towel on the sand (as all public ones are always occupied)

Swimming pool is too close to reception and restaurant, there is no privacy. The choice of food for breakfast and dinner was very poor.

I love this hotel and their kind stuff, they are sooo friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our trip so much and this hotel is one the reason I was so worried if the room is not comfortable, but is so good so quiet and good bed and bathroom clean Their food is so delicious and no need out restaurant, we tried outside foods and they were more expensive and less quality, so i suggest reserving include the food

There is so many building under construction, and workers are working, their sound in the beach it’s not nice but what can do… But the sound is not coming in the room, that’s good.

Sky Beach is well located near the main area in the north of Dhiffushi with plenty of cafes, shops and restaurants around. The staff was always very helpful and responsive. The first night we had a pipe burst in the bathroom ceiling and water leaking out (luckily in the shower!) Staff fixed it very quickly the next day. The hotel also arranges excursions - dolphin watching, snorkeling, sand bank, etc. Prices are good and they aren't pushy about selling them either. Breakfast was good, although very repetitive so after a few days it would be nice if they would change things. They do sometimes also have Maldivian food which was great. Our room was large, with two double beds (family room). Sky Beach is also one of the few hotels on the island with a pool, which was great to have (our kids loved it!)

I have stayed in dozens of hotels around the world at different price points including super luxury, sky beach staff's service, friendliness and willingness to go out of thier way to accommodate requests is unmatched. I won't mention everything but they let check out 530 pm on day of checkout for free. Most hotels would have charged almost a day rate for that. They made boiled eggs and provided extra fruit especially just for my kids free of charge. They got me a mosquito repellent free of cost and many more things . They also arrange activities at reasonable cost. The hotel itself is on a local island dhiffushi which is small enough so everything is pretty close but big enough so that it doesn't get boring , the beach is a few minutes walks and lots of shops and restaurants.

Nothing major, the room could do with a little minor refurbishment, some floor boards a little uneven, a bit of paint coming off near bathroom, some of the finishing in the bathroom also.

That the island itself was small so we could see it and walk around and use different beaches. The manager Asif was wonderful. He was polite, courteous and went beyond the call of duty to assist us so we would have a happy time. The 2 young ladies in the dining room Pooja and Preeti were so lovely, always smiling, polite and respectful as was the young lad Sharat who cleaned our rooms with a smile on his face always. All in all they all made us ffel special and at home. We were a group of 5 ages from 60-80. Asif arranged all our tours which were seamless. He made sure we had the sunbeds ready at the beach too.

The food choice could have been better especially at breakfast, a choice of 2-3 fruits would have been nice. Altough having said this, the lovely chef made us a nice indian meal one night which was so sweet of him. They have different nationalities staying so getting meals right must be a challenge. All in all, it was adequate as were there only for 4 nights.
