Fantastic location in the heart of Beijing. 5 minutes walking distance to TianAnMen square. Lovely small street restaurants next to it and also QianMen Avenue with lots of super interesting shops. The hotel is located in a classical Beijing Hutong neighborhood. Very beautiful surrounding. Friendly staff which tries to communicate even though language barrier. You can keep your luggage with them after check out.

Room is ok in its size but the bathroom is really a challenge. Basically you cannot move much around inside. Thet being said it’s good enough to do what you have to do. Shower itself is clean and alright.

We had two rooms, everything was okay, clean and comfortable. The location is great, you can get know Hutong parts of the city very easy, also main Beijing monuments are reachable by foot. We were there in February, so the rooms were little bit cold, I recommend to wear warm pyjamas :).

Location was great, quiet side street hutong just off of a busy bustling shopping area full of interesting things to see. A short walk to 2 metro stations. Close to Tiananmen Square, lots of shops and restaurants near by. Housekeeping changed towels every day and gave new bottles of drinking water/tissues/toilet paper every day. Shower was nice and easy to use with plenty of toiletries. Tv had some streaming options all be it in chinese.

The beds were very firm which we are not used to. The room was small with almost no space to store luggage/clothes. Also there was no lift only stairs which were steep with large steps.

Great location – near many touristic sights and two metro (subway) stations. It is located in a historic hutong area, and it was nice to explore the streets nearby. The hotel has a nice courtyard in the middle, which added to the ambience, and a friendly sleepy cat. The bed was comfy, the shower was fine, the wifi worked (but if you switch to wifi, no Google/Whatsapp/etc works in China – not the hotel's fault of course, just be prepared for that). The room was cleaned every day, and they kept supplying water bottles, which was sweet. Although the walls are thin, generally it was quiet and I slept well.

The room was a bit cold (I visited in the end of Oct/beginning of Nov) and I didn't see any heaters. I didn't stay much in the room, so I just used an additional blanket at night and was fine. As the property is located in a historic area, the plumbing is weak and any toilet paper or similar waste needs to be put in a rubbish bin, which felt awkward, but not the hotel's fault (maybe having rubbish bins with lids would work better to avoid smells). There's no lift, but a staff member brought my suitcase to the third floor. Staff didn't speak English, but we did the check-in with help of translation apps and I didn't ask for anything during my stay.

The hotel location was excellent. Just off in a side street, quiet hutong, the hotel was really close to the lively main pedestrianised shopping Qianmen Street and the side Liangshidian Street (Snack street) of local restaurants of handmade dumplings, roasted duck and beef mince / onion pancakes (plus a late night wine bar as well!). It's also close to Dashilan Street lined with full range of souvenir shops and markets plus more food choices. The hotel is super convenient to the metro stations line 8 running N-S connecting many Beijing highlights and lines 2 and 7 is you need to go W-E or around Beijing city, and walking distance to Tiananmen Square. Staff were friendly and polite. Rooms were cleaned daily. We had an excellent stay overall!

Not a real problem but note there are no lifts to rooms so if you have really heavy bags and are staying on 3rd floor, the friendly staff can help you get your bags to your room.

The location is amazing, and the place is clean, quaint and tidy. After a long day of walking around the amazing (but very cold) monuments of Beijing, a hot shower in a clean cozy room felt like heaven. The staff is friendly and they let us keep our bags there for very long without issue. It's a great choice if you want good value for money, and a great location from which to explore the city, great hotel to sleep and freshen up.

Some points that could be improved are: the language skills of their stuff can pose a challenge, luckily we knew enough Chinese to get by. There is no elevator (or at least we were not offered one) so it was good we had only light luggage. There was some construction going on outside our window so... No privacy without curtains, but that's a temporary thing anyways. All minor things ;) generally very good.

The place is right downtown, so the staff follows security protocols. No guests permitted, access the building only with the card. I wanted to show the hotel design to my friend (he wasn't going to stay, literally in and out), but the staff forced him to register and give the passport info. This is a bit too much in my opinion. Also, rooms are not soundproof. You will hear everything from the corridors and other rooms.

location absolutely perfect, in the middle of qienmen yet slighly isolated made it so quite at night, the reception open 24h made my trip much easier as I landed after midnight, the place is lovely and look autentic and antique, room is clean , very small but as a solo travel I did not need any more space, not sure for a couple, but the bathroom was spacious and modern, mattress and pillow were comfortable. it was easy to reach by taxi who drop me off just in front of the door for 135Y from the airport. For a short 12h stay stop over in Beijin it was a perfect spot

Our stay at Beijing Hyde Courtyard Hotel was very enjoyable. The hotel has a charming traditional atmosphere that added a nice touch to our visit. Despite being in such a lively area, the hotel was pleasantly quiet at night, allowing us to rest peacefully. Overall, Beijing Hyde Courtyard Hotel offers a great balance of tradition, comfort, and convenience. It's a solid choice for anyone visiting Beijing.

The hotel was great for our stay in Beijing. We loved the neighborhood, especially at night. There are many restaurants and cafes in the vicinity, and it is just a few minutes' walk to the nearest subway station, so it was easy to navigate the city and return. The hotel was clean, and the staff was helpful.

Wasn't a big dea reallyl, but note there isn't an elevator, so just something to consider if traveling with heavy luggage. It didn't affect our stay.
