Over and above anything else was the staff from a week and a half before I checked in when I originally had a three day reservation and had to reduce it to two days the staff on the phone at the front desk took care of my need with excellent customer service with no issues at all! 2 days before my reservation, I had a personal issue at home and had to reduce my reservation to one night vs. two and I called and spoke to a young lady at the front desk, and she took care of reducing my reservation down to one night and then when I showed up at 9 o’clock in the morning the day of my reservation I met with the front desk manager or supervisor and asked him if I could get early check-in, which I didn’t really expect, and he with a smile, let me know that if there was a room available, it was mine and there was a room available… and it was mine! This hotel went out of their way to accommodate me. In fact, this manager told me to enjoy breakfast that morning, if I so chose, and I had already had breakfast but it was definitely a nice gesture and I will definitely stay at this hotel and I was there for a senior softball tournament and I will bring my entire team back to this hotel next year when we come back versus only a few of my players stayed here this year. I must also mention the next morning … the hot breakfast was great… hot scrambled eggs… bacon… sausage…bagels, muffins… make your own waffles… juices… and cold cereal and hot oat meal, not packs of oatmeal… and the lady who was working that morning was filling in because the regular person was out… and she was wonderful, and could not of offered better service!!! Thank you Fairfield Inn Northgate for a wonderful stay…

Can’t think of a thing

Room was clean, bed was comfy, front desk people were pleasant and reacted promptly when told we had only one bath towel. Breakfast was good. Coffee bar all day in lobby. Popcorn available and lollypops for kids! Restaurants close by. We went to an Olive Garden and had excellent meals.

There's no microwave in the room, only one in the lobby. We had a first floor room facing the highway and it could get pretty noisy outside. Thought it was a bit pricey, but didn't compare it to other hotels in the area.

Convenient and safe location. Helpful staff. Comfortable room. Good hot breakfast.

TV remote did not work but the front desk got a temporary replacement. Then the TV access for the whole hotel went down for most of the day. It was inconvenient but the front desk was informative and helpful. The building is starting to show its age, especially the carpet and the bathroom, but it was clean.

Nice employees and accommodated our needs.

The free continental breakfast was out of milk and sugar the whole stay we were there.

The location was great. The hotel was extremely nice and up-to-date on everything! The front desk, the breakfast ladies, the housekeepers and basically anybody who worked there was fantastic!

Breakfast was very good. Everyone was very helpful. My coffee machine was not working.Within a few minutes they replaced the machine with a new one and with extra coffee.

The laundry room was out of order. I really needed that for the amount of time we stayed

Good breakfast, really nice front desk employees. Didn't hear much highway traffic noise.

Room decor a bit tired, but the price was okay.

Staff are friendly. They keep it very clean. The beds are sooo comfortable. Love coming here. The price is great as well for the stay.

location and cleanliness

I don’t know if it was just my room or not but every time I would shower, the drain would be stopped up in the tub. when I checked out, I did bring it to the staff’s attention. and she kindly told me, they will look into it!

Good parking Clean and friendly staff. Great Breakfast!

Nothing really, but I had a great view of charlotte from the second floor facing WT Harris
