We've stayed here before but its always excellent . the blonde lady who worked the reception desk ( whose name escapes me right now ) welcomed us back upon arrival . the room was massive for just the two of us , its a lovely quiet area the hotel is situated in ( compared to a few other local ones i'd stayed in before this ) . the bar food is great and its a nice spot for a quiet evening to chill out over a few drinks. also the buffet breakfast has a nice selection of everything
the room we ended up with didnt have great air flow . it was a corner room so the window had restricted opening width . also one of the days was the hotest on record for the year . cant exactly blame staff for Global Warming .

The property was located very close to the entry to town which made arrival and departure by car easier. Having free under cover parking was even better. Rooms were accessed by elevator which made life easier managing luggage. The staff were friendly and helpful and made the experience very enjoyable. Everything we wanted to see in Waterford was in easy walking distance
Fridges in the rooms would make life in the road easier for guests, particularly those with medical or dietary requirements

After ending up in Waterford due to a sick family member, I needed a last minute place to stay. The fitzwilton first told me they had no rooms only the penthouse when I rang, so I booked here and got a standard room. The breakfast was quite good - apparently there was some items you could order from the kitchen but I couldn’t find a menu. The pastries were to die for!! Room was clean, shower was excellent! Location perfect. The car park an added bonus. Beds were comfortable but the pillows are very light and have no support so be prepared for that.
Cleaner walked into my room without knocking on the morning of departure at 10am. He apologised. Receptionist on check out was an older lady who obviously does not like her job, she didn’t even do much as look up at us on check out just put her hand out for room key and said “goodbye”

Met bar was gorgeous, very friendly, and professional service. Cocktails are excellent the entire hotel was very well maintained, and the room was tip top. The breakfast was excellent and you could help yourself, which was great, so no waiting when hungry. We didn't go for dinner as we weren't hungry and had eaten before arrival, but I'd imagine the quality of food served would be equal to breakfast with great choice. Well worth a trip.
I'm not one to give negative comments as I feel in general, staff are undervalued, and given the service we received, i can not fault them. The best of luck to them all they were all super efficient.

The hotel was very easy to find, not even a 2 minute walk from the bus station if you are travelling by bus. The staff on reception were lovely, we were able to check in early but I think that was just luck as check in is 16:00. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom is very modern. They supply towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and body lotion. Breakfast was also nice, it was self serve buffet and the food was hot. Amazing choice of gluten free substitutes
There’s nothing bad to say about this hotel

We didn't have the breakfast, we ordered room service for dinner on arrival, pizza could've been left to cook a bit longer in our opinion also drink selection was minimal...location was perfect, hotel itself was lovely and so clean the shower amazing and the beds comfortable!
We were a little disappointed there was nothing going on in the hotel music wise, considering the bar opens till 3am we thought there might been some sort of music whether it played through speakers or live otherwise everything else was lovely we would stay here again now knowing a 5min taxi can take you to where there is nightlife and restaurants

the room was spacious and clean, the shower was topclass and all necessary soaps/shampoos etc provided. The staff in the breakfast room and the bar (late evening) were very friendly and looked after us well. The breakfast menu was excellent.
car parking was very limited and the car park looks very grubby. the exterior of the hotel is not very inviting and similarly the reception area does not do the hotel justice. Our initial contact with reception was not as welcoming as I would like (though I would like to emphasis that apart from this all staff were extremely friendly and helpful). The area around the hotel is a little run down.

The hotel was in a good location - only 10 mins walk from the city centre and 1 mins walk from the river. The public rooms were modernity furnished. There was a good variety of food for breakfast. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. The shower room appeared to be recently refurbished and was well presented. We arrived at lunchtime and the receptionist kindly allowed us to park our car in their car park saving us the hassle of finding city centre car parking. We checked in at 4pm.
We were very happy with our stay - all good.

I thought this hotel was amazing and it was great value for money, we had lovely cocktails made by clodagh at the bar and we dealt with Trish at reception she was very welcoming and accommodating. The beds were very comfy and the room was so clean, the location was very nice close to train and short walk to city centre. In the morning we had a lovely welcome from lynn who was lovely to chat to and food was lovely too. We had a great stay for our birthday and had a lovely plate of treats with happy birthday written on it which was an extra special touch.

Location is great and very convenient for those who are taking the train or bus coach. The room was very spacious, everything working well. The receptionist was very friendly. We had a very good stay and I would definitely recommend it and come back.
We had some problems with the delivery of the room service. Also, the vending machines available were broken, and the only one working didn't have water available. The staff didn't advise us about that, so we had to pay a lot to get a small bottle of water in the restaurant. The room was apparently clean, but we found hairs in the bed on our first day. The room was very warm, and the ventilation in the bathroom seemed not to be working. Apart from those small inconveniences, our stay was great.
