The breakfast was incredible, they cook it by order, rather than having a buffet, so there's not the risk of coming down too late and missing some elements of the fry - I'd consider if one of the best breakfasts I've ever gotten if there had been beans included The room was spacious and comfortable, and nicely lit The staff were very friendly, the bar remained serving to residents until quite late, and there was music playing - the cocktails were lovely The location was ideal, right on the main street of Carrick-an-Suir so everything is walking distance

Great bar area, good selection of meals and snacks, excellent breakfast, staff that we dealt with were all lovely. Room spacious and had all we needed for an overnight stay (on a band tour).

We had to ask for the heating to be put on - it was on a timer, and the manager had forgotten to over-ride it, on what was a pretty cold day. This was dealt with very quickly, though.

some rooms needs updating. Working and faster boiling kettle in the room would help (however faulty kettle was replaced very quickly) on weekends gets very loud due to live music and find it hard to sleep until past midnight

I like the atmosphere of the hotel. The woman at reception was efficient and we shared a joke as we were checking in. The food was good and service relaxed while getting it done. The room was clean and warm with a good shower. The breakfast was very good and plenty. Over all a great stay over. Keep up the good work and see you again.

The staff were lovely, the food was delicious and plentiful. The room was cleaned and we had fresh towels daily. The bed was clean and comfortable. The best thing about the hotel was definitely the lovely friendly staff.

The bathroom needed a little updating but the shower was hot and powerful.

The location was very important for me as I needed to be close to the business I was visiting whilst over in Ireland. I needed to stay in a town where I could access other facilities for food etc.

Nothing comes to mind. There was a limited number of TV channels on the TV in my room but not really a showstopper :-)

Modern hotel, yet retained some 'old school' 'we are the town centre' character and charm. Not super up to date, but totally functioning and clean with great size rooms and bathrooms with a bath. Everything worked to which made a change recently. Good meal options in the bar. Breakfast was actually too plentiful and neither of us could finish it. The waiting staff were lovely. It's definitely stay here again, especially due to car parking right outside (granted not free, but cheap), the main street location made restaurant options a breeze - Chinese just along the way on the same side was tremendous.

Restaurant currently (June 22) not open in the evenings, but for breakfast it is. In the evenings the good variety menu is available in the bar, BUT orders are not taken after 8pm, which caught us out having just arrived and not explained on our arrival. This meant the hotel didn't get our business for dinner. Chinese was nice though 50m down on the same side 😁

Breakfast was great, and well presented, service was really good, very attentive staff made stay really pleasent

Stair were a little hard work as on level 2 and partner has mobility issues but this was due to being a full hotel as reception did offer to move to 1st floor when a room became available. Chips at one on my dinners not cooked.

Lovely staff, seemed a bit expensive compated with others. We cd hear the people next door hanging up their clothes and talking very clearly, but old properties are impossible to soundproof, so that is not a complaint

Central in the town & very friendly staff. Food was excellent too and great variety at breakfast

The hotel was all locked up at 10.45pm when we came back which seemed very early but we had no problem getting in by night porter
