I was attending a Pétanque Match at The People's Park. 10 minute walk to the Park. Shops, Pubs and Restaurants within easy reach. Perfect location away from the hustle and bustle yet within walking distance of everything. Ideally suited to singles or couples. Bonus: Nobody clattering the skirting boards with a vacuum cleaner at 8.30/9am. Undisturbed sleep throughout the night.

There was nothing to dislike about this place except the fact that I had to go home.

The host was friendly and welcoming; the location is about 15 minutes on foot from the centre of Waterford city along a road with bus routes; the room was clean and quite spacious with kettle, tea and coffee etc, TV and good wifi; I had an en-suite bathroom, which was a very nice surprise as I wasn't expecting this...

I didn't receive a front door key at check in (host said he would be there all the time, but first time I came back I wasn't heard and another guest who had a key arrived a few mins later and I gained access, I then decided to use an open side door to gain access as this was closer to my room...); breakfast is 8-10 am, but I suggest making it available from at least 7 (even earlier) as many guests like to get up early for travel purposes - I suggest just leaving milk out (chiller) and a couple of toasters and kettles (or hot water dispensers) so guests can simply help themselves and the host doesn't have to be available so early (I did manage a bowl of cereal the first morning, but only a banana the next as there was no milk); the bed was extremely creaky...

This is a very clean and well presented guest house - nicely decorated with all amenities, including a kitchen area with breakfast options. There is public transport within walking distance including a bus stop outside the house.

The only downside is that access to the property is not straightforward. Be aware that you need a working mobile (cell phone) to contact the owner who will then come and let you in. There is no-one on site.

came back at about 4 pm on the 2 nd day and the light and fan in bathroom wasn't working. we let the lady know and she said she would let the owner know but nothing came of it so had to shower with the door open into the bedroom for light.Other than that it was a nice place to stay

I recently had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful accommodation and I can confidently say that it was a fantastic experience! The room was absolutely stunning, with a comfortable bed and beautiful decor that made me feel right at home. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that my stay was as enjoyable as possible. The amenities were top-notch, with everything I needed right at my fingertips. Overall, I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable stay. Five stars all around!

Friendly and helpful staff. Very welcoming. Nice quiet location, but near the city centre. Room facilities (tea/coffee making, good sized TV etc...) were hotel standard. Nice view from my room window. Good choice at breakfast (I wasn't expecting breakfast, didn't realise it was included).

Excellent communication from booking the accommodation and ease of access to the property.. comfortable room clean bathroom plus about a 10-15 minute walk to the centre..ease of access for me onto the cork road .. good breakfast in the morning self service

Cute room, well advertised. The host was lovely, so welcoming! I liked that breakfast was serve yourself at your own pace.

I didn't like that there wasn't anything to dry your hands on in the bathroom, always having to remember your towel was annoying when you're just nipping to the loo.

First of all, Darren rang me the day before I arrived, asking what time I'd be there. When I arrived, Darren was so nice and welcoming, showing me the facilities. Everything was sparkling clean. The room was cosy and tidy with lovely duvet covers. Fantastic value for money

The car park was very small for my big van but I could park it in the neighbours car park

Very clean guest house, easy walk into centre of Waterford, bus stop just opposite if walking not required. Graeme is friendly, helpful host. Was ideal for us. Some reviewers comment on noise from main road traffic. We had room at front and are both sensitive to noise, but as long as front window was properly closed, noise didn't bother us. We would stay there again.

Nothing. Was a perfectly satisfactory guest lodge, substantially cheaper than the hotel our friends were staying in.
