Loved everything! Mary and Ger were fantastic hosts. Our room was big and roomy. It was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was great. The chocolate in our room was a nice treat with a cuppa. The separate tv room was great to have. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. The location is nice and quiet and although it was out of town it only took a few minutes to drive into the centre. There are only 3 rooms for rent so it's very nice. I would definitely stay with Mary and Ger again on a return visit.

I especially liked the little touches such as: 2 face cloths, 2 little chocolates at the tea station, a friendly chat with the busy owners, a few brochures on the area in the drawer, the lovely gardens to look at outside.

We could hear the people upstairs in the middle of the night but this is hard to avoid in a home style b and b. It didn't bother us too much. The blind in the bathroom was not a black out blind so some light filtered into the room at night. I closed the bathroom door to resolve this.

Twin Oaks Bed and Breakfast was easy to find and was in a quiet location. There were multiple choices for breakfast. Breakfast was generous and delicious. The homemade jam was especially good. The hosts Ger and Mary were friendly and quite helpful. The room and bed were immaculate and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others.

We loved staying with Ger and Mary!! They were so welcoming and lovely! The garden was beautiful, the breakfast was delicious and you could taste that it was high quality food. The rooms were cosy and super clean! From there is was really close going to Kilkenny. We would love to come back and stay a whole week!! Can’t wait to taste Mary’s marmelade at home which we bought during our stay.

The place is a very nice house with beautiful surroundings, situated only an 8-minute drive from Kilkenny city center. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, especially the delicious homemade trifle. The room had everything needed for a one-night stay and was very clean. I will stay here again if I visit this area in the future.

Mary and Jer were such lovely people and really made us feel comfortable in their home. The decor is fresh and modern and the full Irish breakfast was wonderful. The garden was so beautiful, a great place to relax while waiting for our family group to come downstairs in the morning. The King bedroom and ensuite bathroom were roomy and felt a little like an upscale spa hotel with a large walk-in shower.

the only thing I would add is perhaps have an extra luggage rack/bench for each guest's luggage.

The room was great! The breakfast was delicious, and each guest may order off a menu and specify the time you want to eat. Ger was helpful in recommending places to visit and places to eat. His poetry and art work is displayed on many walls. A book of his poetry is in the sitting room, which also has a small fridge if you need to keep some items cold. All in all, it is a wonderful choice near Kilkenny.

Our only comment as an older couple is that the shower floor in our room was a bit slippery.

Lovely, friendly, thoughtful hosts. Quiet rural setting. Nice large, bright, airy room. Good lighting. Window actually opened wide! Private bathroom - ours was not ensuite but there are options there. Did have a vanity within the room tho. great idea. Breakfast was more than ample! The communal mini fridge for guests (with fresh milk) a great idea also - not seen in all our other stays over 7 weeks in the UK. Good parking.

Hosts were so welcoming and helpful, our room was spotless and very comfortable. There was a tv lounge available that looked very comfortable but we didnt use. Breakfast was very nice with good options. 10 mins away from Kilkenny, taxi hire was no problem both ways.

The hosts were very friendly and organized. We chose from a breakfast menu the night before so the food would be ready when we came down. The rooms were clean and a lounge area was nice.

The stairs were a little steep and very narrow. But we took it slow and the hosts did offer to help.
