Central yet very quiet, lovely friendly staff, rooms seemed freshly refurbished. Cleaning standards high (decor features mirrors/mirror topped furniture which was brilliantly clean and sparkling) - Excellent breakfasts and really good onsite restaurant

Zuni is a lovely hotel with an offering of a delicious menu in their restaurant. Their breakfast served by friendly staff is also very delicious with a good variety. They also were open to slight moderations if you have special dietary needs. All staff is excellent at their work but also very kind and helpful, from the manager to the service staff everyone I encountered was friendly and made me feel truly welcomed. Thank you Paul, Louise, Jess, Luke, Marco, for making me feel so welcomed.

No AC. Normally not an issue though I was there during an abnormal heat wave. I will definitely stay at Zuni again when I return.

Delighted we chose this Hotel, on arrival we were welcomed by a very nice guy at reception named Shane who always asked how our days went, in fact all reception and the rest of the staff were lovely and always had time to talk to you, the room was well laid out and had plenty of storage space with tea and coffee and a fresh bottle of water every day, there is a hair dryer and if you need an iron you just ask at reception, the bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows, the bathroom had an amazing shower with no shortage of hot water and toiletries were provided, both rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. The food was delicious and a great breakfast served to order which set you up for the day, even though it’s a small boutique Hotel it has a lift which was handy and never any waiting for it, and once you walk outside you are in the centre of Kilkenny, lots of shops pups and restaurants within walking distance, and a very short walk to the Castle (a must see) . An extra bonus is they have their own car park to the back of the hotel which is safe and secure, entering and leaving is operated by a security barrier, all in all we had a fabulous time here and will definitely 💯 be back, Thank you Zuni

There were many things we liked about the hotel including an excellent restaurant, made to order breakfast with good choices and gourmet coffee, a clean, spacious and comfortable room with elevator access, free parking and and a convenient location in the middle of town and most of all the wonderful staff who were all pleasant, friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

It would be difficult to find any fault with this stay. If I were pressed I might say and extra chair besides the desk chair so we could each sit in a chair but we spent so little time in the room that it wasn’t really an issue

Staff were unbelievably helpful and nice. A Carpark in a hotel in a city centre is always a plus. Breakfast was really good. Very clean room and hotel in general. Location is in the heart of town which is perfect. Great shower also!

I found the bed to be quite hard and somewhat uncomfortable. Generally when I go to hotels I don't have any issues with mattresses, but this one wasn't great. Which contributed to a Poor night sleep. I also found that sound travelled very easily between rooms. In particular, there were 5 Room entrances clustered together in one corner of the hallway/floor which meant that when people were coming and going at night and in the early morning, everyone could hear them loud and clear. I had to wear earplugs. I am Sensitive to sound, so perhaps I should have requested to be in a more 'secluded' part of the floor.

I'd stayed here before many years ago and was happy to see that Zuni has maintained its high standards. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful, and there are many personal touches that you don't often find in hotels, which as a solo woman traveller, I greatly appreciated. Breakfasts are cooked to order and are excellent, as is the food in the restaurant. I felt very much at home here and plan on returning at the earliest possible opportunity.

The restaurant ventilation could definitely stand improving. The odors from the kitchen were overpowering in the mornings as breakfast was being prepared.

Breakfast and dinner were excellent; the hotel was located downtown right across from Kilkinney Castle, very quiet location, within easy walking distance to all the shops and restaurants, free parking, our server and our bartender were always there when we needed them, and the entire staff were very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend you stay there next time you are in the beautiful town of Kilkenny! m&l, Oceanside, California.

There was nothing we did not like about Kilkenney.

Very spacious double room, good size bathroom with a bath tub, great water pressure in shower. Breakfast was very good,basic selection but very good food and service. the location was fantastic very close to all the City Centre and Kilkenny Castle. Hotel Restaurant was excellent, great food and fantastic selection of wines, Restaurant and Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. A very enjoyable stay at this hotel. Has off street, secure parking to the rear of the hotel.

There was nothing not to like about Zuni.

The room is small but very clean and recently remodeled. It could use more outlets to charge devices. The room is serviced each day! The breakfast is fantastic and serviced in a cafe with a nice vibe. The food is great. The restaurant is first class. Also, the location is perfect. close to shopping; the medieval mile museum; and the castle

We got up very early one morning and the hot water was not turned on yet. I think that when you stay in a hotel it there should be 24/7 hot water

Location was really central, amenities very good. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Louise was great at front of house with her infectious good humour and attention to detail regarding our stay. Car parking even included in price. We have stayed here a couple of times and can’t recommend it highly enough. Relaxation, friendly buzz and amazing staff make it a winner!
