On arrival we were greeted with a very welcoming smile , the scones are really worth a try , The food the Woodford dolmen is one of the best places around to have a meal, Breakfast was more than filling, the Irish sausages ,bacon , black and white pudding first class. Nothing will beat the cup of tea.. Staff are really friendly and went the extra distance to make our stay memorable, Have to put a special word of thanks in for the bar staff, they felt like one of the family , from drinks to snacks no problems , Plus -- Warm, Clean , first class shower

Everything. The welcome card with a cute box of chocolates on the bed. The bed was so comfy I slept really well, which is something I don't normally do when I am in a hotel. The breakfast was very tasty and the chef was very friendly.

One of the bar staff snapped at me as she gave me my drink in a totally inappropriate glass. When I politely asked for a gin glass. She snapped at me and basically to me to go away. I was shocked, to be honest, as I was extremely courteous to her and would expect the same courtesy back. We left the bar as we felt uncomfortable as she shouted down to me, and people were staring. It was early in the night after the murder mystery evening.

The bunk beds were an excellent addition. The bathroom makeover is very good.

In fairness to the workmen renovating bathrooms in the rooms beside us were as quiet as they could be but it wasn't ideal to have renovations going on during our stay. A little warning in advance would've been nice. I the bathroom I feel the floor tiles are too porous and will absorb fake tan etc. The plug mechanism gets caught in the tap. Getting out of the shower bath is going to be very risky for anyone with mobility issues. There should be a handrail to aid your entry into and exit out of the shower.

Everything. Because of Storm Bert delaying the Ferry from Holyhead we were late, arriving at 9.35pm. The staff provided a meal for us even though the restaurant stopped serving customers at 9.00pm. We could not find fault with any aspect of the hotel. Facilities were great as were the staff. We were at the hotel for three nights and do not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anybody and will stay here on our next trip to Ireland !

Breakfast was sensational, the bar was very cosy and the food freshly prepared. The room is spacious and spotless. The carpet is new and thick. The bathroom is spacious, warm and very clean. The bath tube is large and spotless.

Walls are very thin and poorly insulated. We heard the guests in the room next door talking until the late hours, and they weren't necessarily being loud. I personally prefer firmer mattresses, but for those who like soft ones, this is perfect. On arrival, My name seemed to have amused the male staff at the reception. What a shame, as no one likes to know that their name is a reason for giggles.

Room was good size,around a forest nice view.Clean.

I would really appreciate it if I had a fridge in the room, and it should be extra charge.?!?!?! R u crazy I have been to another countries 3-star hotel and even they had it. Not so professional for a 4 star hotel,also the price that we paid in January. I ask for the closest one and the reception lady didn't even look for other one. She gave me almost the furthest one. :(

The staff are very nice, especially the housekeeping and the dining room staff. The duty manager Willy is a gentleman and brilliant at his job. The room was spacious and spotless, with a bath and excellent shower.

The room was extremely hot on the 1st and second night, to the point of disturbing sleep, also there's a spotlight pointing at the hotel which hits the window. Only one vegan option in the evening and none at lunch, disappointed because I had dinner there last year and there was at least 3 options, all of which were delicious.

The food was lovely...Both Breakfast and dinner! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I am going to make a very, very bold statement here and say that it was possibly the nicest hotel pint of Guinness I have ever had, or ever will have. The room was very well finished, modern and clean. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way.

Ventilation was poor in the room. The room was excessively warm and no way to cool it down. Opened the window but as the curtains were closed, it made virtually no difference.

Friendly & helpful staff on reception & housekeepers. Beautiful rooms & bathrooms. Hotel is spotless. I ordered room service for breakfast (I’m Coeliac so I nervously only ordered toast) such a friendly waiter arrived and went through each dish he had brought confirming they were all gluten free, he brought me fruit, GF cornflakes, GF toast and a full GF fry- AMAZING! So reassuring to be handed the food and told it’s gluten free and so thrilled to have so many options. So many hotels lack this, so thank you so much!

V friendly staff, nice facilities, parking close to hotel

Though cost was high for a Thursday night- this is an issue with rural hotels in Ireland now & is prohibitive ( for me). I would use rural hotels a lot more if there were good deals. The hotel was not busy, it was a weeknight but room only cost was much higher than same circumstances 4 or 5 years ago.
