Our son and his new wife booked his wedding here, and from start to finish, it was amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful, and we booked the Retreat Suite for 2 nights and weren't disappointed...wow!. Bedroom, bathroom and sitting room were amazing. The ceremony was in an old wooden chuch at the back of the property, which was gorgeous😍, and ceremony were conducted by Lovett Ceremonies. The food was amazing - def go for the beef! And the band, the Tripps were, by far, one of the best bands for your reception we could recommend. Lastly, the staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble and they chatted with us, ensuring everything was perfect throughout the day. DON'T GIVE IT A SECOND THOUGHT - DEFINITELY AN A1 EXPERIENCE AND WE WILL BE BACK.

We really like the warm and friendly welcome , girls on reception we lovely, lady who served breaking was really friendly, room was big ,bed comfy and the bath towels were large and fluffy the hotel is spotless as were the grounds, staff made a great effort with Christmas coats, ties and hair pieces

I think he was the head bar man he was talking about his staff coming in late but going home at normal times to other staff ,my husband ordered a large bottle with dinner and the girl brought over a small she brought it back and the bar man said sure he'd have that small one gone in two mouthfuls we could clearly hear him and other people could too he was rude .

A beautiful, attractive building with a very welcoming Receptionist -Hazel. We were given the choice of 2 rooms, both of which were well appointed. One wasn't ready (although it was 4pm check-in time). The room we took was large and comfortable with everything we needed. The property is only about 1.5 km from the township, so very handy for eating out, although there is a bar & bistro on site. There was an open fire in the reception area.

The breakfast arrangements were unclear. Breakfast wasn't included in our room rate but we chose to eat there before we left. We were invited to help ourselves from the buffet (continental) and someone would be along to take our cooked order. When we were seated we found the menu which gave us the costs. A board outside the bistro detailing all of that would have been most helpful. There were no tissues in our room, minor! The sofa was not correctly positioned to make TV viewing comfortable. We rearranged the room to make it so, and put it back in the morning 🤣

The headline was how friendly and helpful all of the staff were The hotel is well appointed with a cosy lobby and good restaurant facilities Every part of the hotel was very clean and well kept The rooms were pitch black at night (not for everyone but this is a big positive for me personally) and in the nighttime hours there was silence which is a rare thing

The only constructive criticism would be that the towels were average sized and quite thin; some fuller, thicker towels would have been welcome. This is a micro negative though.

The staff were extremely friendly. The bed was very comfy. We didn't have breakfast, but next time we stay, we will try it out. The walk around the grounds was nice.They sometimes have live music, but not if there are other events. It is worth checking if you want to stay in the hotel for the evening. The staff were very friendly and informational about other places with music, so not necessarily anything bad, just worth checking out beforehand. The gym and swimming pool is complimentary but in the town so have to drive to it..again just worth knowing so you can plan in advance. Also, it is less than a 1hr drive to Dublin, so a great stop if you're going in that direction. It's a really lovely place to stay and we will book and stay again.

The Clanard Court Hotel was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Five stars all the way - from the friendly greeting by the front desk at check in, the clean modern spacious room, heated bathroom floors, garden view, great dinner with great friendly and polite waitstaff, great huge breakfast included, to the efforts made to help return the bag we left in our room after check out. Slightly of the way location but only about 45 min outside of Dublin airport, so quiet and relaxing after a long flight. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nothing really. The staff's congeniality made our stay very pleasant.

The suite I booked had everything advertised and more - the TV having access to streaming services was a great plus too as I could watch anything I wanted! Bed was super comfortable, staff were lovely, plenty of hot water and the toiletries smelled lovely.

This is so minor that I almost omitted it, but I did have trouble completely closing the curtains which wasn’t really an issue as it was just open land outside, but I was still cautious of when I was in front of the window

From start to finish, an amazing stay with my mother and 6 month old daughter, it was our 10th year here. The staff are all so friendly and remember us from previous years. The hotel is warm, cosy, bright and modern. Food is delicious, hotel room was clean & modern. We will be back again next year.

The smallest of faults but we booked the bistro but were told we could only sit in the bar as they did not have enough residents to fill the bistro, but the bistro was open and there was a family sitting in there eating food for the duration of our meal in the bar. We did not care too much but it would have been nice to sit in the bistro for our 4 course dinner. We are looking forward to returning next year again

The room was spacious, warm and well equipped. It was extremely comfortable. But what really made our stay fantastic was the exceptional staff, their kindness to our children was very much appreciated. Staff where very friendly and professional where ever we met them. I can highly recommend this hotel especially if you have children. Our kids will have very happy memories and they can't wait to come back and neither can we.

Beautiful spacious hotel with a nice big lobby. The hotel has a beautiful Christmas decoration. The stuff was very welcoming and helpful. We liked our room, spacious, comfortable and very clean. Great breakfast servered. Beautiful stay for 3 nights. I was down for business trip and the hotel has everything you need. Nice restaurant bar in tbe hotel serving delicious dinner.
