What an excellent B+B. A hostess with the best personality, and kindness that we have ever had. The house and rooms were immaculately clean, cosy and comfortable there was nothing left undone. The welcome we received was like we were family...... Breakfast.........well what can We say, there was such a huge choice. Cereals, Yoghurt, pastries, fresh fruits, soda bread or white bread or toast......and if that's not enough a "full Irish" egg, sausages, bacon rashers, tomato, beans, black pudding and white pudding!! We really wanted for "nothing" Thank you For such a wonderful experience.
There wasn't anything not to like.... "We loved our stay, and fully intend to visit again

A beautiful 200 year old house, as gracious in its presentation as its kind hostess. Despite its age, the building has been maintained to a very high standard. The rooms are enormous and the bathroom facilities are sparkling and very modern. We needed to depart before breakfast hour, but our hostess went out of her way to ensure we had plenty of ready foods, even giving us packets of buns and bars for the children to nibble on the road
The house stands on the main road through Bunclody ,making it ideal for restaurant access and touring but inevitably also in the path of Rosslare traffic. The thick plush curtains help mitigate the sounds of trucks, and the comfort of the beds should ensure sleep despite any passing noises.

Meadowside B&B has everything you would want. We have enjoyed our visits and return every couple years. Our host has made us feel very welcomed at any time of the year. The historic atmosphere and decor is lovely. We enjoyed the peaceful, private garden area overlooking the meadow and river. We walked just a couple minutes to be in the center of Bunclody for shops and restaurants. We highly recommend Meadowside for the location and its comforts. We were able to explore the interesting destinations in the area quite easily and come back to relax in a lovely sitting room.

Location of the B&B was perfect to reach many close by towns and amenities and in a small and quiet town where food was available until late. Gas station literally at the exit of the premises. All place was spotless clean, room was comfortable (included the bed!), right temperature and everything was working perfectly. Many breakfast options offered by sweet Phil, the owner, and everything was nice and great for us! Perfect place for a weekend or even a small holiday away from the madding crowd!
Nothing in particular :) everything was good!

Phil, the owner of the B&B, was an excellent host. She was friendly and welcoming. The room were spotless and recently renovated to a high standard. This B&B is a family run business that met and exceeded my expectations. We particularly loved the sitting room which was available for our use. It had a most welcoming and warm feeling with a beautiful open fire burning some logs. We had walked the first stage of the Wicklow Way and that fire was so nice to see when we arrived at the B&B. No hesitation in recommending this the Meadowside B&B.

We had a lovely stay in a very cozy and beautiful house. The owner is so kind and made us feel like home, she welcomed us with the fireplace lit and the morning after we enjoyed a really delicious homemade complete breakfast. The rooms are big, spacious and beautifully decorated, and the bathroom was new and very clean. She left for us at the room water, tea and coffee. The house is right at the town center so we parked the car and walked everywhere. We will definetely repeat and we strongly recommend it.

Phil was an exceptional hostess. She could not have done enough for us. Room was very comfortable and ensuite bathroom ample and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was tasty with lots of choice. Meadowside is well located within walking distance to pubs and restaurants. Plenty of secure off road parking at the rear of the B and B with beautiful gardens. We would be more than happy to stay with Phil again.
No complaints whatsoever.

Phil was very kind, an excellent host, and made us feel very welcome. Decor was very nice and room was comfortable. She gave us some great pointers for places to add to our itinerary while in the area. Enjoyed the premises and the surrounding area. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
Door on our room had to be locked with the key from the inside, so a little inconvenient. Shower was a bit tight.

If you leave Dublin, heading south, Buncrory is a great place to start immersion in Irish cultural life, far away from Temple Bar and the Blarney Stone. The house itself is substantial on a bend in the road. The quality of the interior decorations, particularly the chandeliers, belies its rich heritage. The room was sumptuous and really comfortable. Phil is a genial and welcoming host.
Totally all our error but we failed to give a precise time of arrival so had the opportunity to explore the town instead. The breakfast was ok.
