Sandra is a very good host. She couldn't have been any more helpful and recommended the best places to eat in the town. Dorneys bed and breakfast is well located and is only 10 mins drive from Gorey town. The breakfast was a continental breakfast. There was a good choice of pastries, selection of breads, fruit, yoghurt, and cereal, which we did enjoy. We would have preferred a cooked breakfast, but this was not on the menu.
I found the bed too soft and didn't have a full night's sleep because I couldn't get comfortable. My husband didn't have this issue as he didn't mind a soft mattress, and he slept very well.

Sandra was lovely and welcoming. The room was just what we needed for a short one-night stay. The continental breakfast was nice, and we felt we were well looked after overall. Dorney's is close to Marlfield House where we attended a wedding. It was a short walk away, but Sandra offered us local taxi service numbers in case we wanted a lift back to the B&B.

Beautiful house with very comfortable and warm rooms. Very reasonable rates! Beds were so comfy, house was nice and quiet even though there were a good number of guests... Laura is a lovely hostess and was very welcoming and helpful. Greg had a lot of local knowledge to share and was very friendly and good humoured. Wide range of food available at breakfast...plenty of choice and they thought of every option. The big bowl of fresh fruit salad was delicious as were the freshly baked croissants and muffins. Would recommend 100%...we will be back 👍😊
No complaints at all 😊

🇺🇸🇧🇷 I really enjoyed my stay at this place. My family and I loved it. The breakfast was very good and the room was impeccable—100% clean, organized, and spotless. I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the place, and the breakfast was excellent as well. My family and I, all of us, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a place to stay.

It was a really nice place. Comfortable and clean rooms. Nice hosts and welcome. Parking spaces available. Nice and great garden. Tip of an ongoing nearby festival on arrival. Very good breakfast (typical Irish continental breakfast with some nice additions) (fruit salad, coffee, teas, different toast breads, diff. marmelades, nutella, muffins, fruits, croissants, water, different juices available and much more). We stayed here the last night on our Ireland trip. We then went from this accomm. to Wicklow mountains (Glendalough) to Dublin. TV in room, windows to garden.
It was as we expected. Nothing to complain here. Maybe the street nearby, but i was quiet during the night with open window, and only little traffic during the day in our experience, so everything OK.

Great location for wedding in nearby hotel (A S). Host wasn't too friendly when we arrived early even though we advised we would just drop bags off and get key as we knew it would be late night. She did change though and then was doing best for us. Thank you. Please note it is only continental breakfast

Our friendly hosts looked after us so well - nothing was too much trouble. We were in Room 1 which has a lovely big bathroom with both bath and shower. The rest of the family were in rooms 4 and 6 and declared them very comfortable. We were going to a wedding at Marlfield House Hotel and the young were able to walk back late at night as it is so close. Good location and very easy to get to as it is very close to the N11. Everything was spotlessly clean. Nice Continental-style breakfast in the lovely conservatory dining room with delicious home-cooked ham and thoughtful attention to detail. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming and we were very happy that we chose to stay here for two nights.
in room 1 the bath was missing its plug and the bed was rather too firm for us. The road is nearby and while we weren’t at all bothered by the noise as it is well shielded by large trees, if you are very sensitive to cars at night you might notice them. They certainly weren’t loud enough to keep us awake.

Room was comfy and cosy, the bed was phenomenal, had a great night's sleep. I sing usually eat breakfast but there was a much tea as I could handle. Sandra and Greg are a wonderful couple, no faults at all.
There wasn't anything I didn't like at all. Lovely Gardens, great location and even though there's a main road right in front, I didn't hear a thing.
