We stayed in Room 223 which was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. The room was nice and big and ample for our needs for 4 nights. We liked the 'night light' in the bathroom which meant you didn't have to turn on the 'big light and fan' in the middle of the night! Check in and out was simple and we were provided with 2 key cards. The coffee machine was nice as was the coffee provided. Note: there is no restaurant or eating facilities on the premises but I would recommend Sugar and Spice which is just across the road from Clody Lodge for a very tasty breakfast (vegan and gluten free options available). Charlie looked after us well and it was a pleasure staying here. Thank you.

Tips rather than dislikes. The road in front of the hotel is continuously busy and noisy if you are a light sleeper. The room we stayed in didn't have much natural light - I always travel with a vanity magnifying mirror with daylight bulb (bad eyesight), so I can do my makeup. It would have been nice to have a mini fridge or cooler in the room to keep drinks and refreshments.

Room was spotless with excellent bathroom, that are fully wheelchair accessible. Tea and coffee making facility in room. Bed very comfortable. Room has double and single bed. Communication from booking to arrival and after excellent. You just cannot go wrong if you are looking for a place to rest. great value for money cannot recommend highly enough. Just a stone's throw from The River Side Bar. if you a looking for a place to eat Food and service second to none with excellent service friendly staff

Well not that I did not like anything This is Just a suggestion. Only one chair in a room for two Never came across the model of coffee maker in the room. Could not get it to work. Some instructions from the user manual. would help. But that was down to me I am sure it works fine for them that know how.

For a boutique hotel, the room was exceptionally large. The beds were comfy, and even though the hotel is on the main road through Bunclody, it was extremely quiet. Charlie was a great host, very congenial and a mine of local information. The garden backs onto the Clody river and I'd imagine in the summer (I was here in November) is a great place to just chill out and listen to the river gurgling it's way by. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable. The rooms were a lot larger and better than we were expecting. The hotel is well located on the main street of the nice village of Bunclody and the surrounding scenery is beautiful.

There is no restaurant or bar in the hotel but plenty of options around the village. My only small complaint is that the pillows were a little flimsy but the bed was comfy and overall we were very happy.

On arrival we were greeted by Charlie who is very friendly and helpful. He explained how the key cards worked and showed us to our room. The accommodation was very clean and what we expected for what we paid. Very central location as it in on the main street in Bunclody just walking distance to the local shops, bars and cafes. I would stay here again and would recommend it for somewhere clean, safe and affordable!

We were pleased with everything but we realised there was no iron when staying which I feel is a basic necessity.

Our Stay We had a wonderful stay! The place was very nice and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a pleasant visit. Although we didn’t opt for breakfast at the accommodation, there are plenty of great options nearby. We especially enjoyed the convenience of a tasty fish and chips shop just a few minutes away. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-located and cozy place to stay. Thank you.

Always excellent..spotless great location to head beaches for the day. for solo traveller great price..great host if had any problems excellent with me in regards me being deaf ..he text me which was great help as can't hear re phone..

Only little issue could smell bit damp smell in shower area ..I've say only plug hole need to be cleared out ..otherwise spotless..p

Cleanliness, Facilities, Staff were constantly there to assist, Doors had a card swipe lock which gave a sense of comfort. Fierce comfy beds, Kettle and tea bags for the evening cup and a telly to relax. A bath which was ideal for us playing sports throughout the week we got to relax.

I couldn’t give a bad thing I experienced about the property, everything was to a great standard.

We stayed for 3 nights [as we have stayed there many times before] rooms are excellent very clean ,tea and coffee facilities were good and they even put bottle water in as well [always comes in handy]Shower/bathroom excellent. The location was ideal for us as were visiting relations [in wexford,carlow and wicklow] And if you play golf , golf course is stones throw away. As in the past Charlie [owner] was always at hand if we needed anything and always helpful. Would highly recommend this property .

There was nothing not to like about this property. Just a shame they not allowed to do breakfast. But there is a lovely "cafe" on the other side of road that does a full Irish brekie

I couldn't find a single fault ! Location is perfect for exploring wicklow and wexford. Plenty bars and resteraunts within walking distance. The room was better than many 4/5 star hotels! Fantastic air con and heating system. Great decor, spotlessly clean and really modern. Loads of parking outside too .
