Breakfast was good. I also liked that the swimming pool was open for access at any time when it was open. Room was spacious and comfortable although I would have preferred foam mattresses instead of spring (just a personal preference). Alamo restaurant was outstanding - staff and service was excellent and the food was exceptional!

It wasn't communicated clearly to me that the Kids club wasn't operational until summer. The hotel does need a bit of upgrade though: clear and visible signs of wear. Pool water especially could have been nicer- my child developed a rash after which I strongly suspect may be from the chlorinated water.

I booked this night away for my parents 50th wedding anniversary in conjunction with the concert held their on the night The Three Amagos they informed me everything was wonderful but would have been lovely to get a nice dinner patatoes veg some selection of meat as they are not big fans of fish and chips etc I know you do a lovely carvery in the day time as I have often had it myself while in enniscorthy beautiful but they did not arrive until after 3pm unfortunately but that was the only thing they did enjoy what they ordered to eat that evening before the concert.

Chairs at concert were not comfortable as they were sitting for over 3 hrs very close togeather

The location was excellent, there is plenty of parking. The food on site was top notch and three options for dining all with different menus, we ate here each night and enjoyed every bite. The staff are the best I have ever encountered, from reception to restaurant, to the bar to breakfast, leisure centre and housekeeping, every single staff member we crossed paths with were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and just lovely in general. There is a kids club from 6:30-9:30 each evening for a very reasonable price, my son had the time of his life and ran in there each night, I had no say in the matter.

Very little. My only slightly negative thing to say was that one of the days we were here there was a wedding and when we went for dinner the bar was packed with guests and we were lucky to get a seat. It’s honestly not a big deal and the guests were not there for a very long time.

The staff were very friendly, and attentive, especially good with kids, the food was lovely and a good choice on menu for both kids and adults, my daughter got a stomach upset and unfortunately vomited both nights, the night staff were very kind and understanding, they promptly cleaned the bathroom afterwards, the pool was lovely and the sauna and chacusi and steam room were well maintained, it's a shame the pool had no shallow end as my kids are still learning to swim but too old for the toddler pool, loved it all the same and floaters available to buy so that was good

The room was a bit small and no air con, needs a bit of updating, also the TV had a glitch kept going fuzzy, tried to be fixed but didn't work

The hotel is in a nice location by the river. There is a lot of parking available. The interior is lovely plenty of seating areas. Public toilets are really lovely, loads of little bits supplied that guests may need. Function room a great size. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Plenty on offer for breakfast. Quick service. Bedroom was ample size, nice balcony. Entertainment provided in the bar which is good.

The wash hand basin was cracked in our bathroom, we still could and did use it but aesthetically doesn't look good. I'd prefer to have the bottle of water already filled in the room rather than filling it ourselves from wherever I don't know. (I didn't even look to see if there was a notice as to where you fill it) Luckily I had my own water with me. Probably a bit too expensive for a night's stay but I suppose most hotels are overpriced nowadays.

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel from the comfort to amenities we couldn’t complain. Kids enjoyed themselves in the pool and kids club. Also a big Thank you to Ken , Andrea and another management member ( blonde hair sorry forgot the name ) my son had an accident in the pool which resulted in him hurting his head they went above and beyond and constantly check in on him all the way till we left this morning

Obviously this is no fault of the hotel but the getting around the outside of the hotel to the town is not really accessible for wheelchairs we had a wheelchair user who had to use the road most of the time as paths was too narrow and the step off from path to road was too big

It’s walking distance to the town centre and beside the picturesque river banks. The hotel is well maintained and clean. There was a wedding on so it was busy but reception were very professional and polite. The family room was perfect with 2 kids beds just off the main bedroom with their own tv and headphones the kids were delighted to have special treatment. We were celebrating two family members birthdays. There was a surprise dessert plate in the room with happy birthday on it when we arrived. It was such a lovely touch thank you! The prom bar serves amazing chicken wings and the kids pizza was delicious. The bar / floor staff were great, really helpful and friendly. We visited the leisure centre which was lovely and clean and had a small kids pool too. The sauna was perfect temp and there was a chill tub for dipping if you’re brave enough :)

I don’t usually complain about much but the only negative was the mattress on the double bed was super soft which was really uncomfortable to sleep on. No other complaints, lovely stay!

The food was excellent and the staff in the restaurant were extremely friendly and attentive. The rooms were spacious and clean.

We were attending a family wedding at the hotel and requested an early check but this was refused. A rather unfriendly receptionist was in no way helpful saying the best they could do was phone us when the room was available. This did not happen. There were plenty of empty rooms available but she was just too lazy to reallocate us to an available room.

We had a lovely stay at The Riverside Park Hotel. Bedrooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable. We ate in all the restaurants which are all great, food was delicious and the menus have something to suit everyone’s tastes. We travelled with a coeliac and she was well catered for too, with a separate breakfast area and toaster. The leisure facilities are a great addition, however, can only be accessed via stairs, on that note we were offered help several times from staff with our little ones. All in all, a very pleasant and happy stay and well treated really well by all of the staff from housing keeping to all our servers in the restaurants.

Check in being at 4pm

Rooms were very comfortable and so clean. Very up to date. Tv screen on ceiling was a great idea for the children with earphones. Bathroom was great with separate shower and bath. Balcony was great for summer evenings. Staff were so helpful with check in and checkout. Really nice and friendly. Pool was great for adults and kids.

Only thing we didn't like was that after arriving at 8 pm ( maybe it was too late on a Saturday) was told no food being served, restaurant was full and bar food had stopped. And we had to go outside the hotel for something to eat. With having kids with us was disappointing.
