View from our room of the river was amazing when it wasn’t raining and closed in impressively as rain approached- always after we returned to the accommodation for the night! Not sure if Irish weather is always so thoughtful. We were there for four nights and we’re moved rooms after the first night to a larger one because of this. Beds very comfortable and both showers good, lots of towels. There was an excellent pub a few minutes walk away which served beer as well as Guinness plus farm shop with great coffee and ice cream. Useful launderette at Tesco next to card only petrol pumps, no customer toilets at Tesco now though you could breakfast at Costa between launderette and Tesco while your laundry washed. We walked part of the ‘greenway’ alongside the river.

Too far to walk into town but there is good parking by the river. Not self catering but no breakfast although some information implied that was an option- we weren’t expecting breakfast but were a little confused.

The house is nice with a beautiful view from the back of the house. Margaret, the owner, is genuinely nice and easy to talk to. The bathroom that came with our room was specious and the shower worked well.

GPS will not get you to the Beaufort house without the local zip code. Call Margaret if you do not have it. The room had lots of unnecessary display items and had old wallpaper. This room could be nicer with a complete refreshments. The location is a little too far from the historic district to walk. Parking in New Ross is challenging. The price for the room is too high, since there is no breakfast offering.

Margaret was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Upon arrival, she called the nearby pub and booked a table for us, which we really appreciated. The dinner was great and we liked that we could walk there. The room was fine in size, and the shower was good. Good proximity to town, in a pretty neighborhood.

It is described as a B & B, but breakfast wasn't included (unlike all the rest of our B & Bs on our 5 wèek trip) You could order breakfast if you wanted, but it was way overpriced. We went to town instead. The bed was a bit creaky, not the most comfortable. Some parts of the room were in need of attention, like the shower ceiling paint was peeling, as was the window ledge. The description on the website didn't match.

Margaret was a wonderful host who welcomed us to her BandB that was like a home away from home. We didn't book breakfast and Margaret said she'd call us at 8.30 hrs with a coffee, when I answered the 8.30 knock on the door we were more than surprised to find a trolley with a big pot of coffee, a basket of toast, 2 glasses of fresh orange juice and 2 large bowls, one with granola and fruit and the other with fresh fruit, also on the trolley were 2 mandarin oranges. Margaret would not take payment for the breakfast which was a most kind gesture. We can only highly recommend Beaufort house if you're visiting New Ross.

Simple The Host Margaret — just so welcoming & accommodating— great interest in Guest’s been looked after. From the moment I arrived both home & room so cosy & warm. Excellent solid comfy bed Magnificent majestic view of River Barrow & mountains Ample private parking Beautiful pub/restaurant Campions within 500 mts Both places clearly were intrinsically linked & looking after one another as a Hospitality Team

everything and more! out of all the bed and breakfast accommodations we have stayed this one is by a long shot the highest ranked for us. if every accommodation was like this we would only use B&B accommodations. Margaret the owner was like a long time friend. we had a fabulous time with her and loved that she made us feel like family! she had a friend over for dinner and loved her friend too. it was beautifully pointed with nice touch in design. extremely clean. Wen we return to Ireland we will make a special point to return just to stay at Beaufort house with Margaret!!!! breakfast was so tasty with great attention to the aesthetics of the table presentation. Margaret puts her heart and soul into making every stay great and filled with great memories . we will miss Rolex her darling sweet dog! we would have taken that dog home to Texas if we could .

nothing everything was perfect

Large spacious room, plenty of parking, easy to find with car navigation. Short drive to city centre. Good bed. Easy check-in and access. Lovely garden. Quiet location. Nice biscuits provided with tea/coffee facilities.

Hair dryer listed on facilities but required 50 euro refundable deposit. Clothes drying rack listed but not in room. Shower was not very hot and poor pressure. Basin hot tap was fine though

Margaret was absolutely amazing ... we were greeted with a friendly smile and shown to our rooms, which were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much for Margaret and we will definately be booking again if heading down that way again... Fully recommend the Beaufort House accommodation 100%.... This was a great stopover on our journey from Rosslare to Kerry. We stayed in the secluded log cabin which had good facilities and was very clean and comfortable . We enjoyed having a glass of wine on the patio area and watching the lovely garden birds. The host was very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at Margaret's, from the initial welcome to the goodbye's all our needs were catered for. The breakfast was first class and will definitely keep you going for most of the day; homemade granola, yoghurt and fruit, followed by a full fry with any amount of tea and toast you wanted. There is a lovely pub only a few minutes walk that does great evening meals. We hope to be back again when next in the area.
