Well located and only a few minutes drive from New Ross. There is a truly rural feel to the place, with the bonus of the river close by. The accommodation is part of a sympathetically renovated house and stables: all very pretty. I really liked it; a room directly off the courtyard, with a simple country cottage feel and no excess or fuss. A mix of furniture and linens making up everything one might need for an overnight stay; including a good hot shower with great water pressure, and a kettle with tea and coffee provided. I was made to feel very welcome; John is a friendly and most informative host.

That I was only 'passing through' and didn't have time to explore the locality.

Excellent location for a stay within an easy drive to or from Rosslare Harbour. Beautiful surroundings by the river and really lovely host. Bell tent was very clean and super comfortable. Even had a cute furry cat visitor to give me cuddles. Useful mains plug sockets in the tent and a heater warms things up quickly if a little chilly. Clean bathroom facilities. Very much recommend.

Wish I had time to stay longer and enjoy the area more. Will be back to make use of the fire pit next time.

The property is straight from a postcard of what people imagine Ireland to be,lush, velvet green, manicured beautiful property in a magnificent quiet part of the county, magnificent old buildings externally but beautifully finished inside, immaculately presented with all you would ever need, amazing beds, beautiful bathroom..the host Lisa and her Dad are everything the world loves about Ireland.

It was perfect for me, only 6 mins from the venue, the tent was very big with full size bed, the sides of the tent have small vertical walls that give you extra height at the edge, the toilet and shower facilities is very close and looks new, already thinking about booking for next year competition

It wasn't a problem for me because I had my car parked outside the tent, the only thing that would of improved my stay would be if there was a way to charge phones or laptops in the tent,im sure you could charge them in the house, apart from that a perfect stay, I'll be back next year 🙂

We received a warm reception from our host Lisa who showed us our accommodation which was a perfect size for our needs. We had hot drinks available, comfortable beds and a hot shower. It was the perfect start to our vacation.

Nothing negative to say whatsoever.

My trip started with a lovely welcome from Lisa, she showed me around the site and gave me excellent tips on where to and see, big bonus Lisa recommended a lovely place for morning ☕coffee just 10 minutes walk away she made sure I had everything I needed, and introduced me to her beautiful big huggable dog, I would happily have brought him home, all in all an excellent x-ray

It was a last minute booking and was the best decision we could have possibly have made at the time. We were driving from Dublin in the rain and arrived at Ferry House absolutely wrecked. Liz met us with such warmth and kindness that we didn't expect: the room was extremely clean ( a lot of hotels could not compete with it), teas, coffees were provided and she even turn on the sauna for us so we could relax and warm up. The place itself is like magic: small cottages, massive old trees, swings, tents and even ponies! Perfect atmosphere to do some art, sit down with the family and soak up the countryside sweetness to rejuvenate. Also, in the room we found a book with a family story, the history of the place and good spots for dinner. Another important thing- it's really quiet so we were sleeping as logs. With great gratitude to the family, their story and hospitality.

All was amazing

Lovely quiet rural location but only 10 min drive to New Ross. Beautifully restored stone buildings, originally carriage house and stables. Lovely tastefully decorated spacious room with very comfortable bed. Great recommendations for eating out. Good coffee and scones for breakfast 5 mins drive at local fruit and veg etc supplies. Lovely host and family.

It was clean, friendly, plenty of space for the kids, host was very helpful. It was only 4 min drive to New Ross, good spot to drive onto many places to visit. Showers & toilets were spotless.

The ONLY thing was the noise of the traffic (coming from a house in the countryside we’re just not used to traffic noise) & the blasting after 8.30am… but again this was only a bother because we were waiting for the rain to pass so we could go out and do our activities… next time I’ll bring earplugs for the traffic noise, it wouldn’t stop me from returning.

I liked the tents, facilities were clean.

It can be noisy due to heavy traffic passing by. The tent doesn't keep out the noise. But with hearing plugs it was not a problem.
