Breakfast was cooked to order so everything was fresh and there were good choices on the menu. Choice of Juices, fruits and cereals were availalbe but limited, but the place is small compared to a lot of hotels so that's to be expected. Dinner and dessert was fabulous, good service, generous portions and lovely flavours. The staff are very helpful and friendly, would recommend a visit.
It's the only bar in the village so there's nowhere else to go if you're staying overnight. There's a lot of passing trade for food and drinks during the day but it quietens down in the night time. The biggest disappointment was the lack of music in the bar area, which made it a bit dead, even some background music would have livened it up a bit. But that's not much of a complaint, we had a great night there.

Great venue , what hospitable people, our first stop and welcome by the Irish Hospitality. During breakfast we were given so many options of where to go and what to see as we were Tourists from South Africa . Really felt that we were in a home, not a Hotel. Dinner was fabulous , huge portions and pack dining area around the bar . Excellent service. Bedroom was large , beds comfortable.
The lights in the room, please could the owner go into the room and see how dark the room is with curtains open and all lights on , perhaps upgrade the LED lights .

Very pleasant atmosphere and pleasant staff. Delicious dinner. Good sized room nicely decorated etc
The lighting is very low, generally okay but as the side light on the desk was not working I had to do work at 6am (my usual start) in total darkness which is ok with a screen, but unable to read any paperwork. When I asked about this at 10am, it was still not fixed when we left at 11.30. Lack of staff meant we wandered around trying to find someone about the light much earlier to no avail. Also sink cracked in en suite.

Great hotel, great food, the room was brilliant and very clean. The manager was very flexible with check-in as well, as we missed our ferry and arrived 6am in the morning- our room card was left out for us, which was greatly appreciated.
The bar staff are not friendly, don't smile, and make you feel like you're a bit of a nuisance to them. Some of the restaurant staff needed to smile more, too, as I felt like I didn't want to ask them for anything without annoying them.

was too much Nothing was too much. Fantastic hotel and service. Spotlessly clean and excelent facilities. Great location, with a garage and shops just accross the road. We went for my father's 90th Birthday from London to New Ross. The layed back, friendly atmosphere was so refreshing. Staff could not do enough. The weekend and party went so well, in great surroundings and vey helpful staff. The manager, David was great and very helpful. The birthday meal was very well for 35 people, great food and great service, all went very smoothly. A great breakfast too. Our rooms were warm clean and confortable. The bar was lively and sociable. Thank you for a great stay. I would definetly come back and would fully recommend this hotel/ Restuarant. Read more

Easy, quick check-in by friendly staff. Nothing was a problem for them, we arrived late (with notice) and left before breakfast was served or the desk was manned and they left us a tray with lovely chunky bread butter and jam and marmalade as well as cereal with milk and orange juice on ice. The bed was very comfortable and large. The room was large, the TV fairly decent, especially for a hotel. It is just along the N25 to Rosslare ferry terminal so a very easy journey. The Christmas decorations were really beautiful. The carpark had a barrier at night (although the code was on the control panel in huge lettering!)
Whilst the radiator in the room and towel rail in the bathroom were both turned off, the bathroom had either underfloor heating or else hot pipes under the floor and was extremely hot. That made the room itself way too warm in the middle of the night, despite it being 1st January. The only window that opened was tiny and didn't begin to compensate for the heat. This hindered sleep somewhat.

We had come off the ferry at Rosslare and were feeling tired . We enjoyed a meal before retiring for the night . The food was very good with very generous servings. The staff were friendly and the room was very clean with a comfortable bed and a spotless bathroom. We enjoyed breakfast , plenty of choice .
There really wasn't anything we disliked but the dogs barking did wake us up at 7.30 am . The dogs kennels are behind the hotel so it can be a bit noisy. We have our own dogs at home so it wasn't a great problem for us.

Best dog friendly hotel I ever could ask!! Not fussy around, I felt super welcome with my dogs! Staff super friendly, rooms super clean, even the area where most of dogs are staying over with their owners, if wasn't for one or another bark you wouldn't tell. . Nice decorated, gorgeous food and drinks. Really should be an example for other hotels regarding to a pet friendly approach!!! Definitely wilo come back and recommend!
I liked everything!!

A fantastic family-run hotel in a perfect location. Our ferry was two hours late arriving in to Rosslare. When we arrived to check in at 11pm, the proprietor kindly asked if he could make us something to eat. Very comfortable and clean room. Super breakfast next morning and a personal touch throughout. Very highly recommended.
Nothing at all.

You think this location is out in the sticks, well it may not be in the town but it is a great spot for visiting nearby cities and attractions in 2 counties. Despite being located on a main road into Wexford, the rooms are quiet and the food in the pub is good. Dogs are accommodated at no extra charge.
This time Lola (our dog) didn't get to see the greyhounds in the kennels close by.
