Food was exceptional lots of variety to choose from. Breakfast was good. Ate in the restaurant and bar area both very good.Bedroom excellent very spacious Beautiful views. Swimming pool looked good but weather was so good we didn’t use the indoor pool.

On arrival it was bedlam a wedding party was in place there were no tables outside to see at. Luckily there was one table for two vacant in the bar area so we could get a meal and drink. I couldn’t manage to book a massage the time I was there I wish I was advised when I booked the stay to book in advance. Also the following day all tables were either taken outside or had reserved on them even though all the time we were eating and drinking inside nobody used the tables that were reserved.

The hotel was fabulous. Our room was clean and spacious. All the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious. Little park for the kids.

I booked a family room only, one double bed and one single bed. I never add our little ones when doing room only as they both bed share. When we got to the hotel we were charged €30 extra which doesn't seem much but I still don't understand why we had to pay the charge when there wasn't anything extra, not a towel or even an extra biscuit was given. We didn't book breakfast so it wasn't for that, we didn't look for an extra bed so it wasn't for that. I just can't understand why the hotel doesn't have a charge for each room type

Beautiful setting overlooking the water and very close to local attractions, beaches, walks and wexford town itself. Really nice room (received an upgrade) that was spacious, well furnished and very clean. Nice balcony too with great views. Good food in the bar and breakfast was very tasty with a great selection (though a notable absence of beans). One of the better breakfasts I've had while away in Ireland. Pool facilities and sauna/steam room etc were also very good. Nice and bright, clean and got a good swim in.

Not unusual for Irish hotels but there was no AC or fan which meant the room was quite stuffy unless you had the window kept open. The hotel seems very popular with families/young children and there was a wedding on one night which does make it quite noisy. Particularly with playground, music and corridor runs etc. It's a lovely hotel but maybe not the best if looking for somewhere more quieter and peaceful.

Ferrycarrig remains a beguiling experience. A packed early breakfast at 6:50am was an unexpected option on our final morning, and I used the swimming pool during our third visit! Good to notice some evidence of option(s) for festival opera visitors though a fuller picture only became clear very late in the day.

The room was dark - not great for those who'd like to preserve their eyesight while visiting a book reading land? - but we contrived a workaround, and got more used to it. Our price was 35% more than last year (but some options may possibly have disappeared when I booked 5-6 months ago)?

An outstanding hotel friendly helpful staff from start to finish. Beautiful touches to our room for our special occasion , view from our room was of the beautiful lake ,we had bath robes provided .Room was very modern & comfy. Breakfast was more than you could imagine you certainly won't go hungry a variety of food to accommodate all. We also booked in for massages Katie our beauty therapist was excellent carrying out our treatments THANKYOU Hotel was busy with bus tours staying . Management & staff congratulations on your hard work to achieve the best you certainly are. Thanks to everyone we felt like royalty ! Hope to return!

The food in the Dry Dock bar was excellent and served really quickly. The breakfast was also really good with plenty of options.

The swimming pool was closed for children at 6.30pm on Sunday and nobody had mentioned this before my husband had turned up to the leisure centre reception. He came down with my son a bit later than us and we were already in the pool. This should gave been mentioned beforehand. While i respect the rights of an adults only swim, 6.30 pm cut off on a Bank holiday weekend for an 11 yr old was a bit restrictive particularly when there were still other kuds in the pool.

We were away in Salou for my Husband's 50th but were back before the actually date so I wanted to book a hotel for the night/morning of his 50th and boy did I pick the right hotel. From the very beginning Staff on reception were fab, I had requested a room with a nice view of water as my husband loves water! We got an amazing room with a huge balcony and view of the stunning Slaney River Estuary. They had a 'Happy Birthday' pillow on the bed with chocolates and a desert plate in the room which I thought was a lovely touch. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. We had dinner in the Dock bar, The food was 5* and big shout out to Michelle she made sure we had a lovely evening. The next morning we had breakfast in Reeds Restaurant, omg the breakfast is amazing, the selection is huge and everything was hot and perfect. Before we checked out we went to the pool, the changing rooms are very modern and spotless, the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room was a lovely end to our quick break. The staff at this hotel are very friendly and excellent at their jobs x

Raging we had to leave, but will definitely be back!

When we arrived, we were informed that our room had been upgraded to a larger room with balcony and seating area. This was a lovely surprise! The room itself was clean, and the bathroom had all the amenities necessary. The staff were very friendly. We made use of the restaurant and their food was very nice. Good choice of drinks also available. The spa was also nice and the lady at the spa desk was extremely helpful and amenable. Very clean and well kept. Good shower facilities too.

Everything was really good and we would definitely stay here again.

We really loved our stay at ferrycarraig, from the start staff where amazing at reception, they where very polite, kind, warm and welcoming, very accommodating with requests and information to the serving staff in the bar and staff at the leisure centre they all really made our stay very enjoyable compared to other hotel I have to give credit where it's due, the hotel it's self is nothin short of spectacular, amazingly comfortable rooms and surrounding areas, highly recommend anyone to stay and hopefully we will be back again, thank you for a wonderful time

Nothing at all

Beautiful surroundings, room was beautifully decorated and quiet, despite the fact that the hotel was busy with a wedding, there was no noise or disruption during the night, resulting in a good a good night's sleep. Nice breakfast but this could be improved with a better selection for vegetarians .

The bar was very cold because the door needed to be left open for people going in and out to the outdoor section. But it was very cold, drafty and uncomfortable for eating indoors in the main section. Even up the steps to the upper section, really cold and uncomfortable.
