Very friendly welcome; ideally situated by the ferry port; beautifully appointed accommodation, pristine clean, modern and comfortable with a great shower. And a really great fish and chip shop a 30second stroll away.

The room was very hot and it wasn't possible to open windows more than a few centimetres. Insulation between rooms/floors - not the fault of the guest house - but I had a very vocal lorry driver in the room below me who decided to have an all-night telephone conversation on his mobile 'phone on loud speaker - I could hear every word! At €125 for one night without breakfast I thought it was on the expensive side. But that was my choice.

I booked one night here at the end of my tour because I didn't want to worry about catching the early ferry the following morning, and for this purpose it was perfect. The room I stayed in was large and comfortable, and had a huge amount of storage space. If you want to bring all your outfits -- you quite possibly can!

WiFi signal was pretty weak in my room. Could only reliably connect if sitting next to the door, which was fine for a couple of e-mails and catching up with the news, but might have been a problem if I'd needed a network connection to do some work.

Everything about Tuskar House by the Sea was fabulous. 15 minute walk to the ferry terminal. Super clean. Comfortable bed. Great shower. Quiet. A delicious hot breakfast. But the best part is Kristil who runs the accommodation. She was very attentive and made us feel like we were visiting her home.

The location was just perfect - a 3 minute drive from the ferry at Rosslare. A huge, free car park and the owner was waiting at the door for me as I pulled up. The place was lovely, spacious, well decorated, clean and warm. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was superb. The free wi-fi was excellent. Breakfast was a delight and cooked fresh to order. I can not fault this property and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a superb, comfortable stay near to Rosslare Port. There was even a lounge for Guests use just off the dining room and there is a lovely patio with outside seating when weather permits.

Location is good for ferry and railway; though beware lousy signage at the port (Not the fault of the hotel!) Exceptionally lovely room; spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Extraordinary amount of storage space. Excellent breakfast - though avoid the coffee; worth discussing with the owner. Whilst the immediate surroundings are a bit bleak, there is a beautiful clifftop walk close by; excellent for a bit of fresh air before breakfast.

This was perfect for the early ferry the next morning. The room was well decorated and spacious. We had done a lot of driving so we needed a good sleep - the beds were very comfy and we had a great sleep which set us up for further travelling. We felt pampered. The staff were welcoming and informative. Prior to our arrival we had dinner at the nearby Kilrane Inn - the food was excellent as usual and the staff were friendly and hospitable. I would highly recommend Tuskar House and the Kilrane Inn - 5 stars

Great location to stay for an early morning ferry as the port is minutes away. Breakfast available from 6.30am. Very helpful and friendly hosts. Decent supermarket and chipper nearby.

There is a low level ambient noise which can be heard with the window open - presumably from the port. Not unexpected and not enough to disturb sleep. A fridge in the room would be a great addition.

I am guessing that the only reason people stay in Rosslare is for the ferries, as there isn't much else going on. For the purpose of an overnight stay for an early morning ferry, this accommodation is perfect. It is reasonably priced, clean and comfortable, and was actually being redecorated whilst we were there. We arrived a lot earlier than anticipated but our room was ready and the host was happy for us to check-in, which was really helpful. She also recommended where we could go for a drink and dinner.

This was booked last minute for family visiting Ireland that had a ferry cancelled due to weather. The property was excellent. Really clean and comfortable. They only stayed there for one night due to a delay with the ferry but they have said they would most definitely stay again. Didn’t have chance to experience food because of an early ferry time but overall would definitely recommend this place.

The downside was the TV didn’t work in the room. They could only get one channel and the volume didn’t work on it either. As they only had a quick turnaround with one overnight stay it wasn’t too much of an issue.

Pleasant place to stay while taking the ferry the next day. Krystal warmly greeted us and got us settled in. She gave us a recommendation for fish and chips just a short walk away as well as a place for a pint. She also ordered us a taxi for our trip to the ferry. The shower was wonderful and the bed comfortable.
