I never write reviews but this gem of a place deserves one. I stay in a lot of hotels for work purposes, sometimes I'm put up in the most expensive rooms but this hotel stood out a mile. The cleanliness, the location, the staff, the peacefulness, the comfort. I cannot rate all of the above enough. Right in the hub of the town and it had a coffee machine that is so simple to use! Finally. Someone gets it. It was so good I booked in for a second night and have told everyone about it. I will most certainly be back. I ate in the restaurant next door which I believe is the same company and the food was to die for. And to top it all off, everything was so affordable!!!!

Where the room was located, sounded like a loud generated right outside window...very noisey when window is open!

My favourite part of the property wasn’t the property itself (while excellent) it was the staff. From the cleaning staff, the waiting staff, the bar staff… as a woman staying on her own, I felt nothing but safe, respected and at home. I must make special mention to James, Aaron, Esther and the young, hardworking staff in the Crown Bar. They could work in any 5 star setting anywhere in the world.

There is nothing to dislike. Perhaps dedicated ‘baggage leave’ facilities would be nice but not essential.

I love the funky colourful design of each room. Overall trendy bright Hotel. It’s great to park the car just besides the Crown pub for €5.00 per day. The location is perfect, just in the centre of Wexford. The room was clean, modern bathroom with walk in shower, comfy bed, Capsule coffee machine, big TV. The bar and hotel staff where really friendly. Had dinner in the Hotel bar and the seafood chowder was delicious.

Being above a bar some noise is expected, but they supplied ear plugs. The Hotel don't offer breakfasts. Walking outside on main street you find Joanne's Bakery, they offer the full Irish breakfasts and plenty of other breakfast food choices.

The staff in the bar was so amazing, so helpful and kind. A lovely service.. Location is perfect close to everything the covered street outside is great for when its raining. Obviously being above a bar with late bar on the weekends some noise is expected but it wasnt an issue for us

The room was a little smaller than our previous stay. Also, there is a step into the room. Although sign posted. It poses a trip hazard, especially for anyone with mobility issues. Maybe ask not to have one of these rooms if this is an issue for you. The lights feature in the room is lovely unfortunately our mirror didn't have a speaker in it this time which our last room did. It was not an issue it was just a cool feature last time.

Great location and friendly staff. Food in the hotel is great and the menu has a good variety. The design of the hotel is its strongpoint, vibrant and full of life. The rooms we had met expectations, clean, comfortable, modern fitted bathrooms etc. all you could need and want. We recommend exploring the cafes for lunch and having dinner in the hotel as the choice for dinner in the town was very limited and a lot of the local restaurants were empty, closed or simply not inviting. The on site parking for the hotel takes away any hassle and the friendliness from the staff brought a sense of security and trust.

Our experience was brought down by loud generator noises in the early hours of the morning (7:00am-onwards) by local power washing workers washing the streets outside the hotel. We also found it extremely difficult to find a place for a bit of grub and a drink that isn’t overpriced. I think restaurants that are thriving in the town need to upsell and collaborate with the hotels so tourists can have a trustworthy reference to go to.

The hotel itself is great, the room was spacious, the bed was big and comfy (got a great night's sleep) and the shower, especially was fantastic, absolutely loads of space, good pressure and nice and warm, both shower and room were spotlessly clean. The location is perfect for walking everywhere in the centre as well, all the main places I wanted to see were very close by. The hotel is great.

But the one issue I had, and I had seen this in previous reviews,is the parking. When I got close to there I rang the hotel to find out exactly where the parking was. However when I rang the hotel they tried to direct me to a car park that was more than double the price of the one they recommend on the site. I ended up ignoring it and actually found another one a 10 mins walk away that was super cheap. Only to get in to my room and from my bedroom window, see where the recommended car park is, which happens to be very close to the hotel. When I checked in to the hotel I asked the staff if they knew who it was who had answered my call but they didn't know. This left a bit of a sour taste as everything else about the hotel is excellent!

A delightfully different quirky and modern feel. Unfortunately our TV was not connecting to Internet and could only get rte 1 and a load of radio channels. Asked staff in bar on three occasions and said they would get help but was then non existent. Bad service guys. Other than that the place was great but felt it lacked attentive knowledgeable attendees that this level of accommodation should need. The food was good and public areas clean and of a very high standard. Loved the shower in room. The location is fab.

There was no breakfast with the stay I booked. I would stay again but not in that small poky room with a double bed and not a breath of air. I liked the staff for being so helpful

When making my reservation I specifically asked for a double bed. When I arrived I was given a room with twin beds. I immediately went to reception to let them know there must have been some mistake as I had booked a room with a double bed. I was then given a room with a double bed which was very small and there was not a breath of air in that room. We were celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary. To be fare to the staff they were very helpful and nice and went to the trouble of coming to our room about 8.30ish with a lovely anniversary tray ordered by a relative. Because it was so late I really appreciated the staff went to so much trouble to take it up to our room.

The rooms was spacious with a large bathroom both of which looked recently renovated. The location is very central, with a variety of bar/eating options within easy reach, in fact on site at the weekend it has live entertainment and is a late night bar so ideal if you want to have a lively night without wandering but you'd need to be aware of this if you're not a night owl as it could be noisy (but they kindly supply comfy ear plugs in your room too). The staff we met were all very pleasant and helpful, particularly Tyra (apologies for spelling) who gave us a great tip about where to park our car. If we travelled to Wexford Town again, mid week would happily stay again.

Room was a little warm, even with windows open......... though they did supply a plug in fan which could've been used if really needed.
