The hotel is decorated beautifully and so comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, organising a taxi for us in to the town. The food in the bar was absolutely stunning. The room was spacious and spotless, the bed was especially comfortable.

The hotel is well outside Wexford town and trying to find a taxi on our second night was very difficult. In the end we drove into town as there were no taxis available. However, this wouldn’t put me off visiting the hotel again. The green emergency light in the bedroom is very bright (which is the point I understand) but it’s right in the corner of the room and shined right over us which interrupted our sleep. Not something that would put me off visiting but I would bring a sleep mask for my next visit!

The rooms were beautiful in terms of space, furniture, and overall decor. The food was delicious, especially breakfast. The leisure centre was lovely and I really liked that they offered my son a loan of goggles as he had forgotten to pack his. The staff in all areas of the hotel were really helpful, friendly and welcoming. We look forward to coming back again.

I would have liked some bottles of water in the bedrooms, A slightly earlier opening time for the leisure centre if you wanted a swim before breakfast. The 9am opening time was a little bit rushed.

Excellent reception, bar and restaurant staff who were more than helpful and friendly. Breakfast was including and was really good for choice and taste. Bar meals, were all very tasty and filling, well worth the money. Live music on Friday and Saturday night. Rooms nice and quiet and dark for sleeping

Shower in this room was too HOT (scolding) to use. Hairdryer is hardwired into socket within wardrobe next to main bedroom door. Not that easy to use at this location. Also a potential RISK of accident, if somebody was trying to enter room. Would of been nice if room was air conditioned

Charming hotel with a real character! Almost hidden amongst the trees & bushes, yet just off one of the main roads. The room was spacious, spotless and tastefully decorated. Bed: very comfy. Choice & quality of breakfast: wonderful. The hotel's restaurant is a must. Dined there both days. The variety of food is truly impressive, which is only surpassed by the flavours! Vegetarians & vegans are also spoiled for choice. I cannot recommend it enough. Also, huge compliments to the chef!

Really lovely. Everything. So clean. It’s a lovely mix of old skool and more modern. It’s a small enough hote too so you don’t feel you are roaming around for days getting from one facility to the next. Staff all lovely in a relaxed way. Owner was there at breakfast and really nice. The pool is lovely and kept clean without stinking of chlorine too much and not one dotey looking bit of debris to be seen which is rare at a pool! Over all the hotel exceeded our expectations. We had a great time.

The only very small thing to note was the playground which is cute and has nice soft bark on the ground - but the slide was very old and the swings too. I didn’t let my three year play on them for too long. I imagine they are not used too much so not much call for them to be updated. But maybe an update would be nice.

I don’t know where to start - the minute we walked in we were greeted by none other than a couple of the owners and operators of the hotel with warm smiles and friendly tones. They made us feel right at home. The room itself was spacious and had all the amenities needed not to mention a nice welcome fruit lay out for us as we stayed at the hotel. Additionally, thy gym has everything I needed for a traveler who enjoys lifting and running - they had all the equipment from free weights to full benches and squat racks. Additionally, the spa and pool are was spectacular - with a very lovely sauna and steam room and a nice hot tub - plus a cold tub for cycling in and out of the heat. Overall the grounds were incredibly well kept and the food at the hotel was stunning - we never left hungry. My partner has celiacs so gluten free was a must and they had an entire section of the menu dedicated to gluten free options. Every person on the staff from bartenders to cleaners were beyond exceptional. The live music in the bar area for our stay was a nice touch as well.

Honestly nothing here - it was a well put together operation!

Service was fantastic. Everyone was so helpful and pleasant. Great overnight stay on for an early start to ferry in the morning. Didn't have breakfast but had an evening meal which we'd not pre-booked and the staff although extremely busy were very kind and obliged. Would definitely stay again.

Some feedback here is given just to help the hotel do even better. It was pretty hot in the room and there was no air-conditioning. Realise that's not standard particularly in older hotels but with climate changes I'd say it's perhaps worth considering installing. The hotel opens its SPA facilities to non-residents which is not unexpected but at the particular time we arrived on a Friday late afternoon it was too busy to use. Again, understandable but perhaps something to highlight in the hotel information before people book.

The hotel was in the perfect location for our short visit and the staff were extremely helpful in all areas of the hotel and leisure complex. The food in the restaurant was mostly really good to.

The pool area was often filled with children so it was impossible to have a proper swim. That said, and knowing the cost of running these health clubs it is essential nowadays to open them to the public to keep them open. Although the food in the restaurant was mostly excellent, using frozen chips was a real disappointment as they were not pleasant and the garlic bread was microwaved into oblivion. However the negatives in the hotel were outweighed hugely by the pluses. We hope to return.

Clean room. Friendly staff and helpful. Fast enough wifi and easy to use. Great looking restaurant, lobby and hotel with swimming pool. Good food at the restaurant and variety provided. Swimming caps provided, nice swimming pool. Hotel in a quiet area.

The room had a slight smell like it was not properly ventilated. Fixed shower with a bath tub. No additional water brought in the room besides the initial 2 0.5l bottles. Too warm in the room. Room not properly sound insulated, you can hear a shower from nearby room at night. No bathrobes or slippers provided for the swimming pool. Extremely busy restaurant during weekend. Limited breakfast menu. Location, need a car to get to the city center.

The staff are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They are polite and very professional but also friendly and welcoming. So much choice for breakfast and cooked to order not left sitting for ages. Menu in the bar has something for everyone. Enjoyed two meals there. The waiter was even able to tell me the origins of 'basil cafe au laite' sauce. Leisure center facilities were great with lovely staff again. Very clean and well kept.

Only one pasta option on the bar menu, not a big problem though. Mirror on the wall in our bedroom was a little high for my short friend!!
