The hotel is very conveniently located on the outskirts of town, but still within the walking distance to the centre. There is also a bus stop near by, if walking is not an option. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. Good-sized and modern bathroom. Staff were very helpful and warm.

Even though the room was recently(ish) decorated, the paint was chipped in few places, which slightly spoiled the look. The bar, downstairs, could do with more inspiring selection of drinks, e.g. few more Irish whiskies etc. Things like air-con, safe etc. would be a bonus, but these weren't essential, so fair enough.

I had a really relaxing stay. The bed was super comfortable and the room was really clean with a cottage-like feel to it. Good shower pressure. The staff were really friendly and the food was really enjoyable,both in the bar and in the café where breakfast was served the following morning. Hot press coffee was sent right to my table while I got breakfast There were eggs, sausages, bacon,hash browns and beans. Good continental choices as well. A very relaxed and comforting atmosphere throughout. The town centre was a 20 minute walk from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

The bar menu was very limited but I was really happy with the vegetarian pizza and the chocolate fudge cake I ordered. Really enjoyable.

Close to city but not in it. Good road access and excellent off-street parking. Reasonably large room. Attractive premises with potential to add stars. Pleasant bar with good seating arrangements and TV coverage.

Had 3 evening meals in bar (no separate restaurant in the evening); two good meals, third night meal served with lukewarm warm or cold vegetables. Room TV service awful; analogue only; 5 mediocre to rubbish channels. Some streaming possible but mostly "entertainment" channels. Staff response to observations and enquiries was a "that's the way it is" and an implied shrug. Otherwise, staff (bar, breakfast room) were excellent. No fridge.

The hotel staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating. The family room (#23) was new, updated, clean, comfortable, and spacious. The restaurant was clean and Inviting.

Parts of the hotel could use some updating, especially the carpet running up the steps and throughout the hallway to the rooms. It is very very worn and didn’t match our updated new room. I would also take off the orange “vacancy” sign outside the front door. It cheapens the hotel. The only other thing I would suggest is take the name “boutique” out of the hotel. That’s a tiny bit misleading as when I think of boutique I think of small upscale. Overall however, these are small suggestions and it by no means takes away from a lovely state with friendly service and most of all clean and comfortable in our room.

Our rooms were clean and very comfortable. The blackout curtains in the room were appreciated as we were here in June when the sun sets about 10 and rises at 4:30. The checkin and out were a breeze. There was a lift for our luggage which I appreciated. I had requested first floor rooms with one flight of stairs and that is where we stayed. The bar and restaurant were very nice. The parking was included in the price of our stay. We used the city bus for transportation into town and the bus stop was a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

The room was a good size and very clean. The breakfast was satisfactory. There is no lift to the upper floors, but this was not an issue for me as I only had a small bag.

There were guests staying next door who were intoxicated and causing a disturbance by shouting in the middle of the night, which affected the entire floor. Although the staff attempted to resolve the issue, they were unable to do so and appropriately contacted the Garda to address the situation. Thank you for taking the correct and necessary action.

Hotel was reasonably priced, clean and quiet. Staff were all friendly & helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean. There was free parking. Dinner is available in the bar, with a simple but tasty menu. Beds were comfortable. The hotel is situated right across from St Luke's hospital and about 5 minutes or so drive away from UPMC Aut Even Hospital making it an ideal quiet place for anyone who has to travel for procedures or appointments.

Nothing, however if you are there for the nightlife you may want something a bit more central.

If honest the food was a let down, breakfast was cold so only had the one day and the food in bar was all evidently frozen, I’d asked for a pizza with extra onion and they couldn’t add it on cause it was frozen. Didn’t spoil our trip because the staff were all lovely but that might be an idea for them to get a chef that cooks fresh because it would make our stay even better!

A really comfortable and relaxed stay. From the warm welcome at reception to the lovely room, it was most enjoyable. The meal in the bar was tasty and the atmosphere was great with families and friends out watching sport on a few TVs dotted around the room. We could have had breakfast, but we slept in. The free on-site parking was also handy.

If stairs are an issue, perhaps ask for a ground floor room as there is no lift. I managed the stairs fine and I have restricted mobility.

The gentleman at the reception dek was just wonderful. He made me feel so welcome. It certainly was the old World renowned Irish welcome not overedone but just a sence of ease and really glad to see me, Well done!!. Thank you as I was travelling a lone and NOT exactly a young chick I was made to feel so much at ease, Thank you again. The staff in the restaurant and bar were just amazing Thank you again
