Comfy lakeside hotel - you can hire stand up paddles etc nearby and the walking paths are lovely. Good breakfast on a beautiful terrace with a lake view. Very comfy beds and quilts.

Breakfast was weird - half the food was tucked away in fridge drawers. It was served in a very cramped space and supplies quickly expired. Replenishment took a while. The rooms have a provisional holiday bungalow feel which we did not expect considering the price - more than CHF 200 for one night for a couple. It’s a nice hotel but too expensive for what you get - you don’t even get a lake view.

Spotlessly clean and a lovely location by the lake. The restaurant was absolutely exceptional - one of the best meals I’ve had while travelling!!! The staff were super friendly and took time to explain everything to me - especially as my German language skills are close to zero. I can imagine the hotel is even more amazing in the summer with the outside facilities (I visited in November).

I didn’t realise the restaurant wasn’t open on a Monday, but that’s my bad. There are a few places to eat within a 30 min walk / 5 min drive though. However, there’s nothing to dislike - the hotel is perfect.

Very friendly, at reception and cleaning staff and restaurant. Comfortable nice rooms, mini bar well filled, coffee maker in the room, small private terrace. The food in the restaurant was plenty and tasty and nicely arranged and presented by very friendly staff.

There was no a/c and it was extremely hot when we were there (not typical of Switzerland in fact), so we guess that in general this is not a problem.

Location, The room had a big window and access to a small garden, close to the lake, parking space, not too many options in the restaurant but the food was excellent.

Room had no lake view but a quiet situation was definitely more important to us!

The children loved sleeping in the loft! The community is quiet and the lake is peaceful and beautiful.

Restaurant was very expensive. One staff member spoke little English and it was difficult to speak with her about a discrepancy in booking.

Lovely location by the lake, though no view from our room in an annexe at the rear of the hotel. The rooms were well equipped, nicely furnished and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good and we appreciated the restaurant although we thought it was relatively expensive.

On arrival, the restaurant was closed (they informed me in advance), but also the reception was closed. I found only a message (in German) with some instructions about how to get the room key

Restaurant food was delicious and the beds very comfortable. If the weather had been nicer the view from the Restaurant terrace would have been beautiful.

I would have liked a better view from our balcony and some air conditioning but this isn't a criticism it would have given the stay an extra bit of polish.
