Our room was very modern, clean, & would have had a delightful view overlooking the lake if it hadn’t been so hazy (& hot!). We definitely appreciated the fan the hotel provided. We also made a reservation for dinner as part of our 55th anniversary celebration, and had a lovely table!

The heat & the haze, but that certainly wasn’t the hotel’s problem! Being able to open the windows and balcony doors was great! Actually we weren’t there long enough to be able to comment on a lot of the amenities - we didn’t even take showers or use the provided towels.

We had the romance suite. The views from the balcony or bath tub are stunning and unrivalled. It’s a very large suite and just perfect In every way. The restaurant is a must, the food and service are impeccable. Would definitely stay here again.

There isn’t anything to dislike about this place. Perfect location, perfect rooms and amazing staff.

The property is stunning. The views are phenomenal. Everything is clean and well taken care of. Very kid friendly with the play ground on site. The staff is very kind and accommodating. Everything was wonderful

Nice and super clean rooms in an older but very well kept hotel with an excellent restaurant, balcony with beautiful view towards Sempacher See and mountains, shower in room, 2 bathroom sinks, private parking

Prices for rooms, but especially for the restaurant despite excellent quality dinner is approx. double the amount you pay for a comparable higher class dinner in e.g. Germany, Italy. It is an issue about Switzerland as such, not necessarily only in this hotel.

Amazing location with a fantastic view to the lake and close to Lucerne. Child friendly with a small playground, very nice staff, super breakfast and nice restaurant as well!

Restaurant was a bit expensive, though maybe reasonable by Swiss standards 😀

The food is of very high quality. Delicious. Hotel and restaurant staff are very friendly and fast. The location has an incredible lake and mountain view.

Beautiful views, super quiet but not too far from the highway if it is a stop to go to Italy. Very good restaurant

Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent food with great fresh fruit and an outstanding view of the Swiss Alps.

We would have liked an insect screen on the door/window. The mosquitos were disturbing and we don't like sleeping in a closed room with insecticide laden air. Also, the cigarette smoke from smokers in the bar area can waft over diners at the far end of the dining terrace which unfortunately on one occasion detracted from our enjoyment of a great meal.

There's a balcony that gives a great view of the lake. The room setting is cool! A gliding door separates the bathroom from the beds and balcony. There was also room for a sofa. The breakfast was quite good, with personnel offering different sorts of coffee, tea and eggs.

No air conditioning (we had a a couple of really hot days there). There's a fan that saved the day (It had to be shut during the night though, as the air is bothering and doesn't keep the entire body cold).

Calm and peaceful area, with the beautiful lake view. Cleannes was great, and breakfast was good.

The toilet and bathroom were not comfortable.
