Room was generous with nice balcony from where you could see the mountains! Bed huge and comfortable. Everything spotless. The restaurant downstairs was cool and relaxed and Risk and the team were very friendly and accommodating in every way! The hotel was well located in the suburbs - a short 15 minute bus ride from outside the central station which was so convenient with a bus that went directly by the hotel with a nearby stop - the FREE Lucerne visitor pass impressed us hugely and made using the public transport so smooth and easy! What a great way to level the playing field for businesses in the suburbs!?

The bathroom was tight but adequate. The balcony was facing a busy road so there was a little noise that may affect some visitors. Some additional hangers and a kettle in room would have been appreciated. We had breakfast in the hotel one morning and although it was nice, the selection was not great and therefore it did not present great value unfortunately,

We stopped here during our drive through Switzerland, booking just a few hours before arriving—and we were pleasantly surprised! The location is conveniently close to the highway, with plenty of parking available. After a long and exhausting drive, we were looking for a place where we could relax, have a drink, and enjoy dinner without having to venture out. This spot was perfect. The bar was cozy, offering nice cocktails and beer, and the food was very good. The waitresses were incredibly helpful, making our experience even better. The breakfast was modest, but we were also just looking for a quick bite before getting on the road again. There’s also a lovely area nearby for a short walk with the dog, which was a bonus. This place is an ideal stopover, especially when traveling through Europe with a car and a dog. It offers everything you need for a comfortable night’s rest without having to leave the premises to search for food. Recommended, we'll be stopping here again if in the area. :)

room adequate, lift perfect, outdoor seating brilliant, scenery absolutely stunning, public transport services convenient, easy connection to motorway, staff were kind, efficient, pleasant, and extremely informative. the only place I stayed on my tour of Switzerland that provided me with a request for the visitors public transport free card/QR code downloaded to my phone during my stay.

only flaw which is unavoidable in the space at the entrance is the steep entrance slope

Overall, we had a good experience. This location is ideal for a short stay, such as a night or two, which suited our road trip schedule perfectly. We appreciated the convenience of having a restaurant and bar on the ground floor, which offered some delicious options. The staff was also very helpful, enhancing our stay with their attentive service.

While the room photos were somewhat more flattering than reality, the rooms themselves felt a bit dated. Maybe better lighting options would make it look better.

We loved the interior design - everything was in a new modern industrial style decor, which we loved. Also the staff was exceptionally friendly. The breakfast was great and superb value for money - we had our friends over for breakfast , which was not a problem. We just paid a very reasonable price forty more people, which we found very handy. We had our dog stay with us at the hotel, which again was not an issue at all. So all in all we were very satisfied with our stay and can highly recommend. We would book again any time.

I know it is a thing nowadays at hotels to have fancy swinging or sliding doors installed as bathroom doors that you can't fully close. And while I agree that it looks nice, I wonder who wants that? :D I mean it does make it slightly uncomfortable to use the bathroom with those doors, especially when you share a room, even or especially when it's your husband. ;) Would still book again, as we loved our stay there in general but I just don't agree with this kind of bathroom doors. :D Sorry guys!

Nice clean comfortable place. A 10 minute bus ride from downtown. Not new but very clean. Comfortable bed and shower. Parking across hotel and a very fine restaurant in the premises. Just missing coffee in the room or a small fridge.

The bedroom was spacious it had plenty of room for a small refrigerator or at the very least a nexpresso coffee machine.

Nice hotel away from the city. Very quiet and ran by a family. Host was friendly and helpful during our stay. Their rooms were spacious and beds and pillows was comfortable! Their breakfast was simple but they had the best crossoint bread ever! They also have a hero brand chocolate spread that was so so good!! Will surely stay here again!

There is a bus station near by, you can see the hotel where you off the bus, only 3 stops from train stations. and one stops from old town, hotel has elevator, my one person room is small but it is clean neat. The pillow is a little heavy hard , they gave me another light one the next day, which is very help. The staff is very nice and friendly, before I check in , the online communication was excellent.

We had two great nights at feRUS. From the interiors to the facilities in the room, to the location being walking distance to the bus stop, and walking distance to convenient stores, we enjoyed it all. I travelled with my parents and got a family suite which included one bedroom and a sofa bed (which was just like a regular bed) in the living room. Perfect WiFi connection and amazing views of the alps.

We booked this hotel in Emmen Nord, only a 8-9 minutes easy drive from downtown Lucern. This proved to be a good choice. the hotel was a beautiful place and felt like a trendy spot with good food and service. We also appreciated the attention to design details in rooms and resto. Breakfast was delicious (especially the crisp and buttery tasting croissants). Upon check out, we noticed some odd financial transaction emails far exceeding the booking cost, but the owner rapidly replied and made appropriate verifications to ensure we were not overcharged by mistake. The is a small elevator which is nice with heavy suitcases and the patio was pleasant for end of afternoon cocktails. Lots of PARKING right across from hotel, a plus! I regret not having had enough time to actually have dinner too at FeRUS, as speaks smelled tasty. Staff spoke French, English and German, very kind and helpful
