The family room is massive and has a huge terrace to chill out on! We used the coop supermarket that's literally next door (open until 7pm generally) and bought food/drink to have out there. The bunk beds for the kids were brilliant, and the bottom bunk is almost a double mattress. The other bed is huge! Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice. Use the visitor's pass that the hotel provides for a bus into the centre which takes 20 mins. It gets free buses and trains all over Lucerne. Parking was fine. We arrived early and got a space, and it was full when we got back from the city at 6pm.

We'd seen the sign about bathroom cleaning fee, so we also took a video of the bathroom when we left to show it was clean and clear of water. Seems a bit of a silly thing to put in there, so we just covered our backs.

Excellent location– Close to bus stop, and the free QR code provided by the reception for unlimited rides was a fantastic perk. Convenient amenities– A supermarket right next to the hotel. Friendly & efficient staff Free parking – A big plus for those traveling by car.

Disappointing breakfast– Very basic options with limited variety. Could definitely be improved. Poor soundproofing– Noise from other guests and the hallway was noticeable at night, making it hard to sleep undisturbed.

It was near the bus stop so it’s easy to get the property. Friendly staff and my flight was delayed and staff were nice enough to keep the luggage there for us. Breakfast was good but would recommend rotating every few days so there is a variety.

Sharing exact route to airport would be good at check out if guest have Swiss pass or taking train back. We took the long route by mistake and probably wasted little time.

Good location, right next to the bus stop and a large Coop store. Air conditioning was a life saver, room cleaning was also done regularly and breakfast was decent.

The check in and check out hours are unrealistic and essentially a way to make extra money either through an early check in or late check out. We had to pay an additional 50 CHF for a late check out request which was quite unreasonable.

Great hotel located on the outskirts of Luzern. Takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the central Luzern by bus. The buses are very frequent, they run every 10-15 minutes. When I was there (may2025), the hotel gave me the guest card which allowed me to use the public transport free of charge. Breakfasts were good and filling. Room clean and tidy. Staff friendly. Overall, good place to stay whilst visiting Luzern.

Nice hotel. Free parking was great because we came with a rented car and didn’t have to pay for expensive parking. We got a visitor ticket from the hotel that granted us a free bus ride to luzern center. We took the family room - extra large room with a lot of space and rooftop terrace. The staff were very nice and welcoming.

Poor breakfast. Needs more salads, egg omelet, white cheese

The Lux was a bit heaven after a long frustrating bus trip. Clean, comfortable with clear instruction given on how to access the apartment after hours when our bus was cancelled then delayed. The breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly, informative and efficient. She was able to book us another night without fuss. There was a bus stop about 200m away which took us straight into the heart of Lucerne which ran every 7 minutes or so and was free as we had booked accommodation in Lucerne.

Exceptional hotel, staff was so welcoming and nice, room very spacious and comfortable, delicious breakfast and parking available for our stay. I would definitely book it again if around and definitely recommending it! There is also a pizzeria/restaurant on the ground floor, we enjoyed the lovely atmosphere and yummy food, staff also exceptionally professional and kind. Everyone also speaks English!

Great value for the price as Lucern is very expensive. Bus station is right below the hotel, so you can directly come to the centar of Lucern within 20 min. The best is that you get visitors card which you can use to trevel for free within Lucern (bus or train), just check which zones it coveres. Room for two was not big but if you are going to just sleep in it like we did, it is perfect. Bathroom was great , with spacious walk in shower and large window which was my bigest plus.

The room was spacious with bunker beds with kids. The spacious balcony with a view of the town and mountains was beautiful. The staff was very helpful. The location is close to Coop supermarket and bus stop, so it is convenient. The breakfast spread was fair and the food quality was good.
