Very spacious rooms. Great view from the balcony overlooking the river. Within walking distance of train station, plenty of eating and shopping, and the sites. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet is exceptional. Loved keeping the window and balcony doors open at night to get the breeze and hear the running river.

We enjoyed everything. Would want others to know that they should reserve their park spot in advance, if needed. There is a cost. However there is a parking deck across the river.

We liked everything on our stay at Karl's, being the best place that we have stayed in Switzerland. The location is perfect, just in front of the castle and river, the space is large and cozy. We were satisfied with the buffet next morning and the price was fair. The staff was incredible, always prompt to help and really efficient: An e.g. was telling us about a forgotten item straight away and the respective action. We were really pleased with our stay there and will be there again if we visit Switzerland 🇨🇭 in the future.

This property is good if you are planning to stay for a day or two. The cooking amenities were missing which we expected. However, we opted for breakfast as well which helped us to start the morning.

This hotel is fantastic, highly recommended! The hotel is clean. The room is great. Impressive staff that are really helpful and friendly. They do give you an introduction of Lucerne when you check. Don't need to worry about getting lost or miss a thing here at all! Isabella serving all during our stay, she is very nice and knowledgeable. Breakfast here is great here. Variety of options and all of them are quality products. We really enjoyed our stay here!

We ask to borrow some cutlery to have our instant noodle in our room but they won't allow it. The staff that time he say that he never got those borrow thing back so no.

Oh my goodness!!! The location couldn't have been any better. The room couldn't have been any better; it over looks the river and mountains, is right by the old town section, and has a balcony. The breakfast couldn't have been any better--wide variety of options with lots of healthy choices. The staff was so kind and helpful. The bus stop is just around corner, too.

There was only one down side and that was that the floors creaked in our room. I don't know if the people below could hear it or not.

No air conditioning. It was hot and had to open windows, so all the sounds and city lights kept us awake.

The location of the hotel, right on the river, is outstanding and the paid parking facility across the river is a real plus. The hotel interior is slightly dated, however, everything is spotlessly clean and in great working order. Comfortable beds, rooms, and bathrooms. Breakfast is fresh and replenished quickly. Walking distance to major sights and many nearby restaurants and shopping. Friendly, helpful staff.

Location is fantastic. The property also offers a good view being in front of the river. The bedding was really comfortable. My family had a good night sleep.

I wish they had more parking spots available for the guests.

People leaving early can be heard quite easily as hallway is very loud. No soundproofing.
