The place is in the heart of old Luzern. You go out and you're literally next to the main shipping street. I had a room in the attic. It was hot but since it was in May, it was bearable. The bed was extremely comfy, the pillows also. The bathroom is modern and the water pressure on the shower is great. The check in process is really easy :) I saw people complain about two things : 1 : the stairs making a lot of noise and all I have to say is... walk on the outside of the stairs as most as possible, not the inside of them ;) 2 : People complaining about the lack of elevator before the first floor. All I have to say is that there is an elevator, if entitled people can't climb 6 stairs with their lugages or anything BEFORE the elevator is available, they need to seriously get in shape. Overall, it is a great place to stay IF YOU TRAVEL ALONE AND NOT IN THE SUMMER MONTHS (for the single person room).

There is a safe in the room but someone prior to me forgot to unlock it so it was locked. Basically... a wasted safe. That's my only complain.

Location. Bakery adjacent was great for breakfast.

I am not a fan of self check-in. The process was very very slow. If there had been any issues I would have preferred to be able to talk to someone immediately. We did have an issue with the safe in our room and I did get a response to my message sent on your site, but basically it was 'the safe doesn't work don't use it'. As seems to be the case in Switzerland the rooms were over hot. This hotel has probably the slowest lift ever!

Interesting building in heart of old Luzern. Glad there was a lift from first floor as I had room in the attic. Fabulous view over Square, comfy bed and modern bathroom.

Not a fan of self check in but Hugh (think that was his name) from the restaurant under hotel helped me check in and carried my bag to first floor. Would prefer kettle but the coffee machine could provide hot water for tea.

Accommodation is in small rooms above a restaurant. Fittings good quality immaculate Coffee machine, safe, fridge, TV Food in oriental restaurant downstairs if required. Superb location. .

The location could not be better ! It’s located right in Luzern old town center with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops around ! The view from our room was also nice , the bathroom was clean and had all the basic amenities.

A bit overpriced regarding the services provided but again , I think the location justifies it plugs adapter and some milk and sugar to go with the coffee would be a plus !

Charming, in the middle of the old town, but still calm! Easy check in, friendly and helpful staff.

Loved the location, right in the middle of the old town. It was a room for 1 with lots of character. Very comfortable and had everything you would need for a great stay!

instructions to use coffee machine should have been there
