Breakfast included into price and affordable. The staff was friendly and ready to assist. Located at nice small city in walking distance to the lake and close to highway to reach main sightseeing at this region by car.

The hotel has desigagnated parking slots, but not enough for all rooms. Two times it was difficult to find the place to park, but the hotel staff was friendly and assisted to solve the problem. Not everybody at the hotel can speak English, so be prepared to communicate in German. The city is small, but the hotel located at the street with relatively high traffic at day and night, it was too noisy to sleep with open windows.

The staff at reception is really nice and great on helping us to check in! The hospitality he show is superb. The room is spacious! Really no complaints on that. The breakfast is great too, but i hope it can be more variety but still good! Really near with shops and bank. Will definitely come back again in the near future! 🌟🌟🌟

Maybe the furniture a bit old but still great! Also, if have more variety amenities in the room of tea and coffee choices is great!

Amazing location in the cutest town!! The hotel beds were very comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was great! We stayed for two nights and wish we had one more.

No air conditioning in the room. Had to sleep with the windows open. Church bells ring every 15 minutes and for 5 minutes straight at 6am. You will also hear cow bells all night. If you aren’t a light sleeper than you won’t notice… everyone else should pack ear plugs. Not the hotel’s fault… it was like that in a lot of places in Switzerland but important to note for us light sleepers. Would 100% recommend this place!

Breakfast plentiful and fresh

Apartment kitchen was poorly equipped, 1 wine glass, 1 water glass…took 2 glasses from dining room Cutlery drawer and cutlery dirty, had to wash them No kitchen linen, no tea towels, no washing up liquid, no dishwasher tablets, no basic items in “food cupboard”, no cooking oil or salt and pepper…the most ill equipped kitchen I have ever experienced in an apartment. Was there one week, no cleaning or linen changed. Had to ask for clean towels midway through the week. A lot of dust and fluff under the bed. 1 lady staff member was pleasant. The rest of the male staff at the desk never acknowledged us with a “good morning” or “how is your visit.”

Lovely clean hotel. Beautifully clean room and bathroom. This is our 2nd stay this year. We came in April. Good breakfast. We didn’t stay at the hotel for dinner. There was a limited menu which is fine, but we are vegetarian and most of the meals were meat based. However there is a lovely pizzeria 2 mins walk from the hotel called Leonardo’s, and they do beautiful meals. As well as pizza, there is a selection of pasta dishes.

Nothing really, apart from there is a kettle in the room but no tea/coffee.

It was a very late booking, as our booked hotel in Beckenried was terrible. Hotel Krone was our save haven, which we stayed at a few years ago. Lovely welcome by staff. Room was very spacious. Bathroom had a bath, with overhead shower. Everything worked. Breakfast was brilliant. Free parking across the road. Buochs has much to offer, including a Coop supermarket nearby, with a Christian Beck restaurant.

Great hotel in a local town, which has excellent transport connections over the road, bus 311 takes you to ferry and train terminals within 10 mins. When you arrive if no one on the desk, just ring the number on the sign within seconds you are told your room, have access to your key straight away. Room was cleaned daily, hotel always clean and cleaning staff very friendly. The breakfast staff always welcoming, our party had gluten allergy it was no. Issue providing gluten free option at breakfast, just tell them on your booking. Room spaceous with a safe, plenty of storage and bathroom always had hot water available. Fridge in room which we stocked up over the road from Spar which is open 7.30-7pm. Kettle in room, you have glass cups which hold hot drinks maybe worth bringing your own if you prefer a mug. Local 5 minute walk to lake, swim and paddle board which has nice snack restaurant which doesn't break the bank, food is nice called Romys. Ferry terminal Beinfried is next town which has great ferry connections in the lake. Would recommend staying here if you want a base for central Switzerland. You won't be disappointed. Locals really friendly, no tourist traps at restaurants etc.

Checking in was a little confusing as Booking.com had one number there was different one on the desk. Main road can be little noisey around 7.30am kids going to school.

We have stayed here several times. There is ample parking behind the hotel or across the road. Staff on the front desk and at breakfast very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is always very good, continental with good selection. Our room was clean and comfortable. We have never had dinner there but there is an excellent Italian restaurant just two minutes walk down the road.

We had a room in front of building on street side- it’s very noisy. There is no AC and we had to close windows due to road noise. Also, this hotel is about a 20 minute drive from Lucerne, further than I anticipated (that’s my problem- just sharing for others who may plan to stay here to explore Lucerne.)

We were 8, so we took 3 rooms. They were all great, comfortable, spacious, nice view, the bar personal were friendly, there was also a small supermarket just in front of the hotel and it had an easy access parking.

The only issue we had was that one of the rooms, the one at the end of the corridor had a very bad wifi internet signal, but the other two rooms, closer to the lobby were okay. The breakfast was very good too.
