In a beautiful position right next to the lake and car ferry to Gersau, the views are just amazing! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, showing us around our huge room (actually 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and en-suite toilet) and explaining how everything worked. We booked in for an evening meal which although expensive, was worth every penny! Our group chose salmon and steak cooked on their open grill, and a Bami Goreng with huge fresh prawns. The local Sauvignon Blanc was very nice. Breakfast the next morning was superb and all the staff we encountered were so lovely. Our lake view family room was huge, with 3 balconies wrapping around the building. Honestly the rooms could probably do with a bit of an update but we were more than happy with the space and views! We parked on site, just at the side of the building.

Excellent location with magnificent views. We ate at the restaurant - great food not too expensive for Switzerland, theres a small bar sells snacks on the lakeside. Breakfast was good. Location - a few minutes walk was a very well stocked supermarket, we bought some bread and snacks to take on our trip up the alps - we took a cable car again within walking distance, cost 40 f Well worth it ! An amazing day. Parking near the hotel was free another plus for Switzerland.

The weather was very warm - 30° plus and there was no air con which made it very uncomfortable to sleep.

Excellent location, close to the main road, about an hour from Lucerne and well connected to the public transport. Amazing lake / mountains views. Great staff, super helpful and friendly. Top service - breakfast was ok. Definitely recommend it if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing escape!

Not major but perhaps the room(s) can have a (mini) refrigerator, and the fact there are not enough sockets in the room - we had just one and another one in the bathroom(hidden). Apart from that, nothing to complain.

The view over the lake was beautiful. Very peaceful. Our room was as you would expect a good quality Swiss hotel. The beds were really comfortable. However, the highlight for us was the restaurant. They had an enormous open wood fire/grill, which they cooked various dishes on, with absolutely no smell. They had an Autumn menu and also other dishes that you could select from. The atmosphere was such fun, helped no doubt by the really attentive and charming staff. Really was an evening to remember. Yes, Switzerland is expensive, but on this occasion it was worth every penny.

Lovely location on the edge of the lake with beautiful views and very peaceful Freshly baked bread and croissants for breakfast. Fun on the pool table. Good choice of channels on the TV including UK ones. Free parking (you can spend a lot on parking in Luzern)

No issues, just for awareness Only hot option at breakfast is scrambled or boiled egg. Restaurant has limited choice and expensive If you stay in Beckenried it takes around 25mins to drive to Luzern. You need to take a train and bus otherwise. The ferry across the lake it directly outside the hotel, but the boat trips go from a landing stage 1 mile away.

Very clean, warm rooms, comfortable beds, fantastic view (we had a balcony room with views of the lake and mountains) Necessities were provided such as handwash, bodywash, hairdryer, coffee, kettle and the room provided enough storage and shelving to unpack and keep suitcases out of the way

I expected a bit more from the breakfast. Not sure if it's Swiss culture but some warm food with the scrambled eggs would've been appreciated such as bacon or sausages. Although the options provided were tasty and a good variety it didn't keep us full for long We stayed for 4 nights and by night 3 there was a guest in the room next to us and it was very noisy, it seems that the walls did not have much insulation. We could hear the person moving in the room and we could hear everything he/she did in the bathroom which was uncomfortable for us

We had a lake view room with a lovely balcony. It was worth the sat just for the view of the lake. Don't bother with a mountain view unless you are just passing through. The room is a good size and the bathroom works well. The WiFi was reasonably fast and reliable. Loved the terrace in the sunshine and warmer days. Parking is excellent and free. There is even a large number of Tesla fast chargers in the additional parking area across the street. The hotel is located adjacent to the car ferry and the hotel is a 20 minute walk to the centre of Beckenried.

The room could use a bar fridge. Breakfast needs more variety and the hotel restaurant is way overpriced for the quality and quantity served. Unfortunately the room next to ours was occupied by a couple who had two very large dogs in their room. The dogs woke us regularly with their barking and we had bouts of hay fever due to our allergic reaction to dog hair in the hotel. Surely dogs in the buffet food area is a health hazard.

Good location just off the motorway on the edge of the lake with free parking. We had booked a lake view room and had dual aspect views as we were in a corner room. Spacious room with comfortable beds and excellent powerful shower. Evening meal was expensive but we found that Switzerland is generally expensive. We enjoyed a ride on the Klewenap cable car which was a short walk from the hotel. Overall a good overnight stay on our trip.

Excellent location and convenient access to the lake. The hotel nice beach. Astonishing view on the lake and mountains. Very clean. Comfortable and free parking. People are welcoming and friendly.

Quite old style and furniture. No fridge, no shampoo. Restaurant delicious, but quite expensive. Breakfast mainly consisting of cold items, without hot dishes or vegetables

It’s a lovely hotel , in a great location. The locals used the bar and restaurant and it had a great buzz about it. The food in the restaurant was amazing . By far the best thing was the staff who couldn’t have been more helpful. A great bunch of people .

There was no room service so we had to take our dogs into the restaurant they were really well behaved but it meant we were unable to relax . We didn’t like to leave them in the room as there was already one poor dog who had been left and was crying and barking .
