Totally the location of the hotel is wonderful, i like decoration of hotel’s restaurant , Check in was so easy, Staff was nice and polite

The pictures of rooms in booking wile reservations are totally different from reality, the view of the room was so important for us and reserved this hotel just because of the views, unfortunately after reservations and confirmation, they gave me a room without balcony and view of the lake,, if I knew the rooms of the hotel is restricted I never reserve this hotel

Like: location excellent! Love it!! Would love to return. The room with balcony small but balcony large excellent. Views breath taken!! Martha the host very helpful. Answer all my questions. Breakfast, very good. Dislike: Breakfast, very good but in busiest times runned out of eggs, they missed topping up. The bed/mattress too soft and pillows very uncomfortable. ( room with large balcony) number 11 I also stayed in the room 15 ( large room without balcony) mattress was firmer and pillows were better.

Beautiful cosy hotel in the heart of swiss countryside with amazing view over the lake and town :) You can truely get the taste of countryside in Swiss ,Loved it!!

Lovely view with balcony. Free and easy parking. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Comfortable bed. Pet friendly and there are trails readily accessible to walk your dog. Decent breakfast and friendly staff. Amazing restaurant downstairs.

It’s on a steep hill. It’ll be a long walk down to town. It’s accessible by car but the road is tight. Still a wonderful location for the view though!

Great Location, fantastic view of the lake and the city below. We arrived close to 9pm at night and staff were friendly and helpful and thankfully could speak English. They even gave us Swiss plug adapters. The beds were comfortable, lovely broad head showers and super soft towels. Nice breakfast. Even the pool had a fantastic view. And they had table tennis. The family really didn’t want to check out the next morning!

Property is on a hill that is accessible only by a narrow windy road. But I guess that’s the price for a great view.

Beautiful views and so great to have a balcony. Comfortable room, great to have a kettle and a fridge. The bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful and the cubicle big. Good to have 2 chairs in the room. Easy check in and check out. Breakfast was lovely. Great to have a free, private car park.

No breakfast tea or decaf options for hot drinks. The bedding did smell a bit stale. I think the guttering may need attention as the rain was constantly hammering on the decking.

The view!! Omg the view was amazing. The room was clean and tidy. The beds are great! Never slept better. The breakfast was great with fresh fruits, the best cheeses, yoghurt, boiled eggs and bread. The location is great just outside the village centre. You can walk to the centre in 15/20 min. And there starts a hiking trail just outside the hotel. Gersau is beautiful.

We loved the view from the terrace at the mountains, the apartment size and the personnel! The location is really nice to get feeling of the Swiss-like small village/town with cattle on the hills, tiny road up to the hill top and the nature which is just at hand. The stay was really nice, the breakfast is good, personnel so much helpful speaking German, English, Polish and Slovakian.

The view from this hotel is quite amazing. The room was decent size and beds were comfortable. It's an awesome experience to stay here and see how amazing it is to live in Switzerland on a house half-way up the side of a mountain.

The hotel is half-way up the mountain, so driving there on a very small road (enough to fit one car) was a little hectic and scary. But once you reached the hotel, the view from there is quite amazing. There was no Air Conditioning in the room, so we had to open the windows, but the windows didn't have screens. If there was a lot of mosquitos, then that would be a major issue. The night that we stayed (8/10/2023) was not so hot, so I only had to open one window.

The Platten Weg hotel was up at the top of a mountain with all the views of Schwzyn Kanto and there were boat trips to cross on the other part also. The room had everything and the employees were really nice.

The hotel is a bit secluded up on the mountain, therefore having a private car is essential.
