The location is stunning, its easy to find and park. Breakfast was good, and the check out relaxed. We loved the decoration in the common areas, The view while eating breakfast is exceptional,

We checked in on a Monday night, so used an access code to get in. That went well, but the room was incredibly hot, and we could see no way to adjust the temperature downward, other than opening the window. The room was missing the remote control for the TV, and the light in the bathroom confused us. You press a button, and a fan comes on, the light only follows several moments later

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here above the beautiful lake. It is a little in the middle of nowhere to get to, but it is worth it for the scenery. We stayed here on our last night in Switzerland because it is only 1hr 15min to the airport. Our room had a great balcony with an incredible view. The room was tidy and I appreciated that they had a bathtub and a blow dryer in the bathroom. We ate downstairs that night and the food was very good and the server was excellent. Breakfast the next morning was spot on and had a view to go with it. We didn't have enough time to enjoy the outdoor seating but I am sure it is great!

Our room was spacey and comfortable and the view from the balcony was stunning. The breakfast was plentiful. We had dinner at the restaurant and were served an excellent Swiss white wine (at that price was better be good though).

The room was too hot (no airco). Wekept the balcony door open until the thunderstorm started banging it but had to open it again afterwards as the room got again too hot to sleep. Unfortunately the place was not as quiet as it looked: traffic was noisy and cars and busses speeded uphill on the road hardly 20m from our balcony, the nearby churchbell hit every 15 minutes, tree logging and roadworks completed the symphony. Needless to say,we didn't get much sleep. The restaurant was too expensive for the basic quality offered. The beautiful sunny terrace was infested by wasps so we had to have breakfast inside.

The location and views are stunning! We requested a corner room with balcony and view and we were glad we did! The view is breathtakingly! We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking at the beautiful view! The room was clean, comfortable and bright. The breakfast was nice including eggs, fruit, cereals, meats, cheese and a variety of juices, coffee and milks. The staff are also very friendly and speak English.

The restaurant was beautiful and the staff very friendly. However, the beef stroganoff wasn’t very good. It needs to be removed from the menu.

The breakfast was very good. We also had dinner in the restaurant at the property and it was excellent! The location was difficult as it was listed on Booking near Luzern, but was a significant distance away, in a small village, and difficult to find. However, the village was quite charming and the view from the terrace was wonderful; although, we got a street view in the room not the lake view we expected.

Looking at the property on-line, we thought we would be getting a lake view, but instead we got a street view. For the price, the room was very "spartan;" it had the necessities, but little else. The hotel we stayed at next in Lausanne was cheaper and much nicer.

The staff was super welcoming and kind, we felt well looked after. From the helpful receptionists to everyone else, thank you to the whole team for being lovely! The breakfast was great, the dinner was superb, what else... the breakfast/dinner room is beautiful and has a wonderful view that will immediately relax you; we had the "gym" room all for ourselves and had a great workout before a Sunday hike :D, the room and bathroom were very comfortable and super clean. We basically liked everything not just in Seelisberg but in the hotel and would be more than happy to return.

Just a couple of suggestions: the hotel entrance and dining room are very warm and welcoming, while the room was a bit too visually not so warm/cozy. The bed and bedding were very comfortable, we just wished there was some more cozyness, for example a warmer wall color, two chairs in the sitting area (we had 1 chair and 1 stool), a little desk... But this is not critical, just ideas for improvement. :)

Beautiful location, quiet and charming. Clean rooms with spacious balcony, overlooking the lake and with a panoramic view to the mountains. Friendly staff, especially Vania from the breakfast buffet. She made sure all of us were very well taken care of.

If I may make a suggestion: I was missing some fresh veggies at the buffet: tomatoes , cucumber . The breakfast buffet was sufficient but lacked some fresh veggies.

We booked a room with a terrace and lakeside view for one night, on our way to Italy. The absolutely stunning view from the terrace is the main attraction of this hotel. You can enjoy the same breathtaking view at breakfast, either from the restaurant or from the beautiful terrace. Breakfast is fine, with a slightly limited choice (no fresh fruit available) but delicious fresh bread and good coffee. Our room, situated in the main building, was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. All in all, a perfect place for a one-night stay on a longer journey.

This hotel really needs some refurbishing. The bathroom in particular looked very, very tired – which is probably why it is not pictured on the website. Prices may be surprisingly reasonable for Switzerland, but in a broader European context the price-quality ratio is not that great.

The location and views are incredible. The hotel is very accessible and has a wonderful restaurant and outdoor area. We ate at their restaurant and experienced an outstanding dinner and two delicious breakfasts. The staff was all wonderful and helpful. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was large and had a deep tub. The balcony was such an great way to start the day or enjoy some wine with the view after a day of adventure.

We liked it all.
