The views from the hotel over the lake are beautiful and can be enjoyed from the restaurant terrace. The sunset is incredible. Our room was very comfortable and clean. There are cable cars near by to get up the mountains for walks.

The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. As were the bar staff. In the restaurant however, we felt like a bit of an inconvenience! Despite knowing we were English, we weren’t given English menus, even though we knew they were available , so had to ask for them. Wine menus aren’t available in English! Despite seeing carafes of wine on other tables and asking many questions, we were told they didn’t sell them. Turns out they call that an ‘ open ‘ wine. The food was well cooked but the choices were rather eclectic and a bit outdated. It was also very expensive. Do yourselves a favour and eat opposite the hotel (Ambiente), where they are friendly, the food is good and not too expensive ( for Switzerland). Oh yes, and the church bells do ring throughout the night!

The location, specifically, its views were amazing. The restaurant with its beautiful garden amazing, with really good food. Luckily they found me a table, as I arrived quite late. The room was OK, good bed, decent, functional bathroom. Staff was very friendly.

The room was quite basic, so was the bathroom. I came just for an overnight on the way home, so I did not really benefit from all the extras, so the room was all I could enjoy. The restaurant was fully booked, they should really ask you to reserve beforehand as there is nothing else in the area.

Everything was perfect and above my expectations. Staff were polite and helpful. Room was clean and tidy. We got a room with an amazing lake view and the sunset view was stunning. Swimming pool was an added bonus after a long and tiring day. Breakfast was delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had and will surely be unforgettable.

There was nothing I didn't like, but the wait time for food at dinner could have been shorter. We ordered at 7:30 pm and we got the food at 9 pm (waiting one and a half hours) and also the dinner was little expensive for us. I wish there were more food options in the menu at a little cheaper rate too.

Beautiful location, good wellness including infrared cabin, steam room and indoor pool with mountain view. Wellness area was clean. Bathrobe and towels were provided, which was perfect. Staff was very kind and always smiling! Breakfast was very good with more than enough options. Plenty of parking spaces available. Good value for money!

Gym/fitness area is basically useless, and we were unfortunately fooled to believe that we could have worked out there. There’s no weights at all, no resistance exercise machines. Instead it's only equipped with a trampoline and a single treadmill. Furthermore, our room could have been cleaner.

The staff was super friendly and the facilities are really nice. The Spa has great views to the surroundings, awesome pool and steam sauna.

It is very noisy! We could hear our neighbours, even when they were showering. Our room had a (horrible) view to the garage, therefore we could hear the trucks in the yard at very early hours. The breakfast is really really small, only: 3 veggies, meat, cheese and all the bread you can imagine (the bread was actually quite good). It could be better. Specially that the clerks were not refilling what was missing.

It is situated up in a quaint and tranquil town. I love the fact that though the restaurant was closing, the staff ran back to tell me that the chef could take my lunch order. Alexandria, the waitress did not rush me to finish my meal too. I was famished. So that was remarkably a plus point and truly very much appreciated. The male staff who asked the chef, the chef himself, Alexandria and the staff who picked me up from the bus drop off point, thank you. The gym, steam bath and pool were spotlessly clean. There is free transportation if you are carrying luggages from the bus drop off point and back. The breakfast spread was delightful. It is a lovely walk down to the bus point. An excellent place of you are looking for a quiet time to love yourself. Safe for female solo travelers. The view to the lake was amazing.

The view was magnificent, and the hotel staff all very friendly and helpful.

Signage as you approach the hotel could be better. We parked at the first carpark we came to, but there was plenty of room in the carpark further up in front of the hotel. Quite a climb with suitcases.

For the price we paid, we got a good clean hotel room with facilities to have breakfast, swim in the pool, use the steam sauna. Breakfast was better than expected and the view was stunning. Very professional staff. There were enough parking space, even the parking space had a beautiful view.

There was no blackout curtains in our room, so we woke up by nature's clock. Very very soft pillows, which was no problem, we tucked them in so it was more firm.

The views the hotel offers are magnificent. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of choice (hot options available as well). The dining area is beautiful, offering splendid views of the mountains around. There is a large terrace outside, which is a great relax on on a nice day. While a bit dated, the room we got was clean and comfortable. Free parking and SPA facilities are highly appreciated. We'll definitely come again if we're back in the area.

This was our second year in a row at the Seeblick hotel. We came back because we loved it so much. It is an excellent location overlooking Lake Lucerne with beautiful vistas. Try to book a room with Lakeview and a balcony. There are numerous cablecars that take you up to mountain tops behind Emmetten that also offer spectacular views, food, and some nice hiking. The staff at the hotel are superb, they remembered us from last year, not sure if that’s good or bad! 🤣 Make sure to check out the exceptional indoor pool, and sauna.
