The hotel is perfect, for our family anyway. It is situated in a great location offering perfect views of the surrounding mountains. It’s situated a bit out of town which we liked. We caught the No. 300 bus to and from the station when we had our luggage, this is a free service and departs every 30mins or so otherwise the town centre is an easy 10-15 stroll down a walking track. The hotel is great and very comfortable. The supplied breakfast is a combination of some cereals, breads, cold meat and cheeses as well as scrambled eggs. Good coffee as well. Our family stayed in the quadruple room, very comfortable beds and bathroom. A special note to the hosts - they are amazing. Very helpful and Alamos above and beyond what you’d expect. We will definitely return and thank you.

The owner of the hotel charged me at the checkout with 10 SF for parking. That wansn't agreed in advance, especially that it was mentioned specifically ta booking.com that parking is available and especially that this small hotel is in a rural area with a lot of parking space all around, so it was a little strage feeling to be charged with parking there and left me with a small bitter feeling. Other than that, everythings was very decent and the breakfast was lovely.

Great location : very quiet and peaceful and near Mount Titlis, the morning walk around the area was great Beds are very comfortable and the room was very cozy and spatious with a lot of storage ! Staff is very nice Breakfast option is a little limited but at a high quality

No shampoo or conditionner in the shower but it was ok, we brought our own :)

Helen, the host, was AMAZING! She knows how to treat guests well and made us feel like family. We were there in the off-season, so she called one of the local restaurants to see if they could handle our party of 6 people. She also called the pharmacy to find out if they had the kind of batteries my dad needed for his hearing aids. And, when we asked her if she knew where we could find authentic Swiss cowbells to take home as souvenirs, she called a shop in Wolffenschiesen. Helen is truly the epitome of fantastic customer service. The location of the hotel was beautiful, right in the Engelberg valley.

Lovely room with balcony - dual aspect view of the valley and mountains. Very good breakfast. Quiet and peaceful. Short walk into Engelberg. Staff were very friendly and approachable. Good area for ski equipment in the hotel. Good location - shuttle bus stopped at the end of the road.

Great location, friendly owner, big room and everything was clean. They allowed us to bring our dog and provided a crib for our 2-year-old kid. Also parking space was available.

The only little thing, just to mention something, is that they don’t have restaurant. So dinner needs to be found outside. They don’t have elevator, so if you have a baby stroller it may get difficult to go to the room with it.

Lovely hotel in the valley. Very welcoming staff that made us fresh scrabbled eggs for breakfast. Room was huge compared to our other hotels and very clean and comfortable. Within walking distance to the centre.

There was nothing we didn’t like but just for information there wasn’t an elevator if you have mobility issues.

Absolutely loved the location, View from the balcony was amazing, and I woke up to Swiss horns and cow bells, magic. Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful—excellent value for money.

Super nice place to stay right outside the main town area. Room was perfectly clean and had a great mountain view and was quiet the whole time. Host was very nice and made sure breakfast was fully stocked and even insisted I pack a sandwich for the road since there was so much food left! :) Also covered parking on site was convenient

Breakfast was great. We got a family room which had a nice view on both side. Exactly, how we wanted. Location was around a km away from the nearest bus stop, which was a challenge since we were carrying luggage, though we were ok since we wanted to stay in a neighbourhood which was exactly what the hotel offered. The ladies on hotel team were super helpful and fun to talk to. They guided us very well to the various outings we went for including good restaurant recommendations. :)

There is a short walk of 5 minutes to the hotel from the last bus stop and you may want to be mindful of it if you are carrying luggage. For us, that was not an issue and I wouldn't really call it as something we didn't like. We loved this walk too. :)
