We had the most amazing stay!!! The guest house is highly recommended. The room is clean, cozy and aesthetically pleasing. It is equipped with fan (v helpful for summer), lamps, a small fridge, storage drawers, TV, wardrobe, couch and throw pillows. The bathroom is clean, complete with hairdryer, shampoo and soap, and bidet. The shared kitchen is perfect for people who love to cook like us. It has everything, and even more than a regular hotel can offer - spices, dishwasher, fridge, oven, kettle, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, bowls, pots, plates and utensils, tea towels and more. The staff, Alex and Facundo, are very nice, charming, helpful and professional. The guest house has an impeccable location - 5min walk from train station (but also v quiet despite being at the centre of Engelberg), 5min walk to Engelberg Monastery, 10min walk to Titlis cable car station, 15min walk to Eugenisee fishing lake, 2min walk to Coop and Migros, beside a Tea restaurant, surrounded by shops and restaurants, and a perfect starting point for hikes. The guest house also has a lift, which was great for people with big luggages.

Not really dislike because we loved the guest house so much, but the room can be bigger with space for two luggages. One of the lamps is quite low and can sometimes bump your head. We still like the place a lot despite this!

The location is great, few minutes walk from the train station, and also for my son ski classes, it was only 15 minutes walk. The common kitchen is great, the separated refrigerators. The room was a good size and comfortable. They have a ski room with heating, which was great. The communication on the app is great, all the codes to enter, the check out, everything worked perfectly.

The playroom disappointed us a bit - people mixed up the games, so there were missing pieces in all of them and we cannot play the ones we wanted. I know that this is hard to control, but it was a pity. As we were on the floor just above the common area, we could hear sometimes the noise from downstairs. Next time I will ask for a higher floor room.

Amazing setup, the rooms were very nice, comfortable with good facilities. The kitchen area was fantastic- lot of thought has gone into it and it provides everything a group of family would need for a self sufficient stay. The ski locker was huge and had good equipment that ensured warm, dry gear every morning. The ski bus was 2 minutes from the front door and the location was great for pubs, shops, restaurants etc. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend without hesitation.

Nothing- everything exceeded expectations

The hotel is beautifullllll! Both the rooms and the common areas. The common kitchen with common fridge is great!! The location is very convenient: 5 minutes from the train station, 10 minutes walking to the ski lift or 1 minute walking to the free ski bus. The staff was all very nice and helpful, specially Facundo! Having a Spanish-speaker staff member was a great surprise!

The beds were too soft which makes difficult to sleep. We could hear everything from the halls and, unfortunately, we had not very nice ‘neighbours’ but this is not the hotel’s fault off course. Maybe, as there is a fine if the kitchen is left dirty, a noice fine can be implemented?

This is a fantastic place to stay. We are a family but it would be great for any type of traveller. The shared kitchen is excellent. Extremely well-equipped and a beautiful place to prepare a meal and enjoy it with views from the large windows. The inclusion of a few sweets for guests was a nice touch. The room was very cosy and well thought-out. It has a walk in wardrobe so you can unpack and keep your hiking gear well away from the rest of the room. My son loved his bunk bed and my wife loved how immaculately clean the place was. Both of us enjoyed an evening wine on the balcony watching the moon emerge from behind the mountains. The playroom was another highlight and we had fun as a family having a go at some of the board games on offer - The Penguin game we found was super fun! It's also perfectly located. Can't speak highly enough of our experience. None of us wanted to leave!

The guesthouse is well equipped for a ski trip in Engelberg, and everything is well explained in their app. The room was clean and nice, beds were comfortable and the showers hot. There was a great kitchen, big enough for many familes at once and with everything needed to cook proper meals. There is a kids playroom, and a separate cozy lounge for relaxing. The skiroom was also great.

There is parking but only if you are Lucky. Otherwise you have to walk a bit and pay for expensive parking elsewhere.

Everything , the room was beautiful and clean with everything we needed, the common kitchen was top notch, they have everything you need for to cook a great meal , you only need to bring your groceries. The self check in is great and very friendly The hotel walking distance from restaurants and local supermarkets . Our kids enjoyed the play room , had everything in it . Big Shout out for the wonderful Alexander, From the moment we arrived he just made us feel at home , every little question or request we had he took great care of us , also gave us advice on where to go hiking in beautiful engelberg , thank you Alex We will definitely be back and can’t wait for our next holiday

We loved everything

The hotel is perfectly located and easily accessible with public transportation. The common kitchen area is a really nice concept. The kitchen has everything one might need for cooking dinners, which can save some money on your trip. (But I would also recommend the restaurant downstairs) The rooms very very clean and look like they were recently renovated. We had a room to the back with a nice view and a small balcony that we enjoyed using.

The hotel uses an app to open the doors and for check-in/out, which is a bit cumbersome. During our stay the app decided it needed a 'mandatory update' after which we couldn't open our doors any more. We had to uninstall and reinstall it completely. (Note that one can also use a pin number to open the door. Good to write that down in case of app failure)

Location was fantastic 5 min walk from train station. Everything is digitalised in the property from opening room to luggage room etc. Room was cute with wooden finish. Very clean rooms. Amazing views from the tiny balcony. There is a small walk in closet. There was a common kitchen with utensils, dishwasher and spices, oill etc but we didn't use much. There is an Indian restaurant closeby. Very calm and peaceful town, not touristy. The kids loved the bunk bed. There is a Coop and Migros supermarket just opposite the hotel. It's very accessible base to explore titlis, pilatus and Lucerne.

There was no housekeeping for whole of the stay. They would clean only after checkout. This is not ok since we were a family of 4 in one room but especially bathroom must be cleaned daily. Only one set of towels in the room which need to be re-used. We asked to change towels and they said it will cost 10 chf. No kettle in room. Room was a tad bit smaller since we had 2 adults . 2 kids. For the price breakfast should have been included.

The hotel is very convenient, right in the middle of town. It's easy to get to the Titlis gondola and the Brunni lift is not that far away. The kitchen was excellent, well-stocked, with lots of space, and easy to use.

The bathroom in the room felt like an afterthought; only the toilet has a door, and the sink and shower are part of the room. There didn't seem to be an extractor fan above the shower. It was very cramped and awkward.
