Wonderful location and cosy rooms, the hotel owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Shared bathroom facilities all kept very clean and delicious cheeses at breakfast! Easy access to the slopes on foot or by bus, 5 min walk to the closest ski rental place as well.

The beds were very creaky and woke us up at night, we ended up sleeping in the kids-size bunk bed as they made no noise. Overall a bit loud as you can hear people walking and talking.

The room that was given was a Bigger room than the expected one. It was more spacious and comfortable. Me and my friends enjoyed the stay. The Location is near to the train station. The Breakfast was Excellent. Having stayed here before in 2017, I preferred to stay again. Special meal was cooked in 2017 on my Son's Birthday and on my request it was cooked again this time (It happened I was in Engelberg on same dates again)

Nothing was unlikable. Everything was excellent, No complaints.

Simple room at a simple old wooden building - but all was nice and simple in a good way (don’t expect something fancy). The hotel staff were nice and helpful.

No lift - If you get a room at the upper floor, you’ll need to carry your luggage up a long staircase. Breakfast is relatively basic.

If you’re not with a car, it’s a 15 minute walk to town (restaurants and train station) We were at the top floor and there was no elevator, mainly an issue with arrival with luggage :)

Clean, pleasant room. Good breakfast in the restaurant opposite. The hotel reception is located in the hotel opposite Espen. If the reception is closed, use the emergency phone.

If there are people smoking cigarettes on the common terrace in the neighboring room, close the windows immediately so that the smelly smoke does not enter your room

near the lake, separated by only one street, and also very close to the Tetli cable car. It also has a beautiful view of the lake and mountains at the same time. The check-in was from the neighboring hotel and breakfast as well, but we did not complain about anything, so the check-in was smooth and fast. And the breakfast was very good, Right behind the hotel there is a soccer field and we had a great time playing soccer with the locals that day

The room may be a little tight but it did not constitute any issue for us.

Short walk to the ski lift, amazing view over Eugenisee, very friendly personnel. It’s generally basic but has everything one needs

Really good breakfast; the room was clean. Great location close to the train station, to the cable car for Titlis and all the trails in the area.

Staff was very friendly, good location at walking distance from the ski lift. Free parking right in front of the hotel.
