The room was great, we had one on the front so got a great view. It was spotless and was cleaned every day. The breakfast was great, beautiful scrambled eggs every day and fresh bread, cheese, hams, orange juice & tea/coffee. The location was brilliant, a short walk into town and close to the train station without being in the middle of the town. Plenty of free parking and a very smooth quick check in.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the hotel, but just something to note, there is lots of building work next door and the very loud construction work would start around 7am. Absolutely nothing to do with the hotel

I did already read before going many comments about the bad character of the owner, and I must say that are sadly true. They changed without notice the type of room we booked (we paid extra for the kitchen, but we didn’t have it assigned). When we claimed about it he reacted as badly mannered as I expected, so I took it easy to avoid conflict. Instead of assuming their error, they just put excuses like the fact we had two small dogs (they had already changed the room before knowing that!). This person simply doesn’t seem to know what means customer service. It’s really a pity and the only negative aspect about this otherwise great hotel.

The room was spacious, very clean and the small kitchen was well equipped in terms of kitchenware - however they didn't offer oil, salt and pepper which we would appreciate to have to cook a simple meal. The location is brilliant, walkable from the train station, and the staff who greeted us was very kind and welcoming. The breakfast was very tasty! With a selection for sweet and savory likings. Overall, a great stay!

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is right across the train station. The view from the balcony is exceptionally calm to watch the snow covered mountains. The breakfast was very good. The staff is very polite and helpful. The owner was also very kind.

All was really good. I do not understand reviews about owner. On the reception was a really kind man, which tell us everything what was necessary. Room was very clean and new. There was nice small kitchen with fridge. A few steps from cable car. Highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was amazing! Room was clean and quite with a nice view, and location wise perfect, not in the rush of the city but yet closest to the cable car up to Titlis.

The only thing that I wasn't that happy about was that for some (unknown) reasons the restaurant was not functional. Otherwise, everything was just perfect. Especially the staff :)

Everything!! We arrived at 1 AM, they put the keys and check in form in the receptionist so we can straight to go to our room. Hassle free. With the classic exterior building, surprisingly the interior is super modern. The location is perfect. Few steps to kids playground, pharmacies, supermarket, train station, and 10 minutes walking distance to cable car to go to Titlis. The breakfast is simple but heart-warming. We always late to have breakfast but they still give us the best service. Excellent!!

Everything is great. Rooms are cleaned and big enough. The breakfast is tasty and you have enough options to choose from. And the surroundings are beautiful. You can take a walk to the centrum, go up on mountain or have a chill evening by the lake.

Great Location.2-3 mins walking distance from the Engelberg station & 10mins walking distance from mt Titlis cable car point. Staffs were friendly & helpful. Room was clean & comfortable. And from the balcony view was awesome. Breakfast was good.

The property is greatly placed. Right outside the station, a very short walk. Accessibility to Mt Titlis was super good. Just 10 minutes walk and you are there! The owner kindly left the keys on the front desk when we checked in around 11 pm! The rooms were warm and cozy. Lovely flowers in the balcony. Room felt a bit tight but the location, the staff and overall stay made it so worth it! Great place to stay if visiting Engleberg.
