The room was spacious, very clean and the small kitchen was well equipped in terms of kitchenware - however they didn't offer oil, salt and pepper which we would appreciate to have to cook a simple meal. The location is brilliant, walkable from the train station, and the staff who greeted us was very kind and welcoming. The breakfast was very tasty! With a selection for sweet and savory likings. Overall, a great stay!

Breakfast was amazing! Room was clean and quite with a nice view, and location wise perfect, not in the rush of the city but yet closest to the cable car up to Titlis.

The only thing that I wasn't that happy about was that for some (unknown) reasons the restaurant was not functional. Otherwise, everything was just perfect. Especially the staff :)

Everything!! We arrived at 1 AM, they put the keys and check in form in the receptionist so we can straight to go to our room. Hassle free. With the classic exterior building, surprisingly the interior is super modern. The location is perfect. Few steps to kids playground, pharmacies, supermarket, train station, and 10 minutes walking distance to cable car to go to Titlis. The breakfast is simple but heart-warming. We always late to have breakfast but they still give us the best service. Excellent!!

The property is greatly placed. Right outside the station, a very short walk. Accessibility to Mt Titlis was super good. Just 10 minutes walk and you are there! The owner kindly left the keys on the front desk when we checked in around 11 pm! The rooms were warm and cozy. Lovely flowers in the balcony. Room felt a bit tight but the location, the staff and overall stay made it so worth it! Great place to stay if visiting Engleberg.

Great location, beautiful views,! Very close to a lake, and walking paths. Nice view from the balcony. We did not have time to have breakfast and took it away, however, it was fresh! tasty! The location is a bonus.

The room was tiny for a couple. It was not really a double room. A bit overpriced for what you get, the beds were not comfortable, and we could not really fit with bags. One night was fine but not for long.

A very friendly hotel, 10 minutes walk from the railway station. A typical Swiss hotel where you know you are in Switzerland - not a sanitised hotel chain. Lovely view over the mountains from our room with balcony. Breakfast was quite basic but good enough to start the day!

Manager accommodated us for early checkin due to bad weather, which was appreciated. Very comfortable room. Good range of breakfast options for me although no gluten free bread options for my husband

Breakfast- despite us pre-notifying, no gluten free options, which I don’t think is good nowadays since the availability of breads is common in supermarkets and could be kept in freezer for when needed.

Friendly staff, great location for all activities (everything walking distance but free bus stops outside too), good breakfast, nice and quiet.

Overall good experience. Close to the town centre train, cable cart and easy to find. Very clean and attention to the details. Relatively quiet inspite of being close to the train station. Recommend this hotel if you are looking for a 3-star accommodation in Engelberg which is certainly a place worth visiting. The glacier is amazing!!

Small room but seems to be the norm for Switzerland for this price range.

I like the location: next to the city center and close by walk to the ski lifts. A bus station just next to the hotel door, so you can easily get to the ski lifts in minutes. We enjoyed mountain view from the room, breakfast was tasty, clean SPA in the hotel, friendly staff.

Sometimes I heard a train running just across the street.
