The welcome itself! The lady was absolutely lovely and warm. The room was on the 4th floor and had a skylight. I loved the warmth and friendliness of the family run establishment. The breakfast room is spectacular with wonderful wooden ceilings. Choice of breakfast is apt. Overall thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

There was truly nothing to dislike.

Loved this hotel! In the very centre of Engelberg, in the walking street. Nice view from the balcony and lively atmosphere around! Light wood in the room makes it cozy. And overall the place feels so Swiss))) And yes, their tasty breakfast in a good atmosphere is definitely not to be missed!

Great location. Step out right on the center with restaurants and shops. Owner and her staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. Nice breakfast, great room. Highly recommend.

The rooms were very clean. Polite, positive and friendly staff. Good location. Nice gifts in the room and when check-in. We asked for parking in advance, it was 3 3-minute walk, but it was allowed to load and unload our luggage near the doors of the hotel. Child friendly.

The breakfast could have been a more varied.

The hotel was lovely. The staff were so friendly and the room was really nice and comfortable. I had a great view from my room. Also the restaurant attached to the hotel was a very nice spot for dinner, the food was delicious. Engelbery is beautiful!

Exactly suited to our purposes - a stop-over on our hiking trail! Excellent, quiet location, tasty half board dinner, impressive breakfast buffet - particularly the smoothies!

All great, as a hiker, house shoes would be a bonus.

Thomas was very helpful when we arrived. Lovely hotel and location. Ideal for visiting Mt Titilis and the surrounding area. Would certainly recommend it for a stay in that area.
