Surprisingly good stay. The building is old and full of character from the outside, but inside it’s modern and well-managed. Staff were efficient, smart, and pleasant - you don’t need to repeat anything twice. Parking was convenient, the location is perfect (right in the middle of Engelberg), and everything worked smoothly from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was absolutely decent and served in a nice dining space.

While the hotel is nice, I missed a bit of magic or personal charm. The room was fine, but not particularly memorable. I didn’t feel any special, individual touch - just a clean, well-run place. The view from my room could have been better; I hope other rooms are more impressive.

Relaxed hotel with eclectic mix of old and new furniture. Excellent location in town centre next to the station. Bars and restaurants all very close by. Clever use of reflective materials as walls so you get double the Mountain Views!!! Parking available right outside the property. Decent breakfast. Yucatán bar/restaurant had great service and food.

No hot drinks facilities in the rooms. There are machines downstairs for tea and coffee but we only noticed on the last day. The bed was very soft and the room was too warm. Little bit noisy in the late evening due to nearby bars.

We loved the breakfast, everything we ideally wish to find in the buffet (but rarely get) was there! The breakfast room staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient, as was the staff overall. The hotel was calm and cosy, the room was well equipped, clean and spacious and the balcony was a very nice feature. Also we appreciated that there was space in the wardrobes and elsewhere for all our things (often a problem in hotel rooms). The location of the hotel is absolutely great. We also liked there being a good restaurant directly at the hotel. The building is beautiful and has been renovated with very good taste.

Just a few little details, mainly related to sleeping: the mattress was a bit soft and the duvets a bit too warm in the summer. Also the light in the WC area which stays on during the night was reflected towards the face of one of the two sleepers. This was made worse by the sliding door often sliding open by itself. Another thing we didn't really like was the very fact that the WC has no proper door that one can properly close. For a solo traveller this would of course not be a problem but it can be uncomfortable when two people share the room.

Nothing. Everything was perfect

The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was very nice, we liked the made to order omelets! The room was very quiet.

Room 215 was so modern and spacious as it was recently renovated. The layout was very nice, and the balcony offered beautiful mountain views.

The attitude of some of the staff. The fact that the hotel is not air conditioned. Breakfast lacked variety and freshness and definitely needs to be improved. Engelberg is a small village with limited activities, quiet and a bit isolated.

We loved our stay and wished we could stay longer. Bellevue hotel is right in the centre of Engelberg, just opposite the train station and a few steps from a few restaurants and shops. Despite that, our room was very quiet. Our L room with balcony was tastefully appointed and had a fantastic view of the mountains. Hotel provides multiple parking spaces around. The reception staff were friendly. And breakfast was nice, with sufficient choice.

Both Yucatan restaurant and the bar area were very deserted on Saturday night.

The hotel’s location is perfect, right across from the train station, and the free shuttle buses to Titlis depart just in front of it. The breakfast and rooms were excellent and more than sufficient. As a nice gesture, they upgraded our room to one with a balcony. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. If I visit Engelberg again, Bellevue-Terminus Hotel will definitely be my only choice!

The breakfast room and living room is absolutely exceptional cosy. One wants to have breakfast all day. The receptionists were naturally friendly and very helpful. Very practical to have a nice restaurant in the hotel.

The beds are pretty plastic, so that one easily sweats in the night. Natural materials would be preferred. They are washable too these days.

The property is pretty cool and the views are just too fantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful, it’s a perfect hotel in Switzerland. Very boutique vibes. Loved the coffee machine on our floor

The breakfast for vegetarians could be better. A toaster would be a great addition. And the pillows they definitely need a change,
