⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Exceptional Stay in Engelberg! I had an absolutely fantastic experience staying at this hostel in Engelberg! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The place is spotlessly clean, with a sleek, super modern design that still feels cozy and welcoming. Every detail has been thoughtfully arranged to make guests feel at home. A special shoutout to Alex, who was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Whether it was recommendations, tips for exploring Engelberg, or just a friendly chat, Alex went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. His local knowledge and warm hospitality really made the difference. This hostel is not just a place to sleep — it’s a place that adds value to your trip. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Engelberg! I’ll definitely be back.

No cones whatsoever

The hotel looks beautiful – every corner is cozy, and well-decorated. The property is very clean and well maintained. Our room was spacious, spotless, and super comfy. The location is perfect – just a minute from the train station and really close to the Mt. Titlis transport. Plus, we had majestic views of the Alps and mountains right from our window and balcony! The kitchen was fully equipped and so clean, we actually enjoyed cooking in it. The staff were all super kind, friendly, and welcoming – they really made us feel at home. We’d definitely stay here again on our next trip to Engelberg and highly recommend it to family, friends, students - anyone visiting!

Wonderful property with great facilities and lovely managers/staff. The kitchen set up is excellent with individual fridges accessed by smart phone app. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They had free hot chocolates one evening and let us share their bbq meal on Swiss day. The place was immaculately clean , extremely well situated and very quiet. Beds were comfy and shower hot and powerful. Great place to stay and I’d be back like a shot.

The doors to the bedrooms are not soundproofed and you occasionally heard other guests in the corridor- but it was very minor.

Nice location, nice rooms. The common kitchen was surprisingly clean, but the smart setup plays a big role. It was so easy keeping your work station clean that all the guests did it. The fridge and storage system works well. We ended up cooking dinners there rather than eating out most nights because it was nicer. The terrace is nice, but afternoon sun is blocked by the next door building.

Would be nice with a comfy area to hang out. The only options are the kitchens and the terrace. The lounge looking area in the pictures is the affiliated bar.

the hotel is very new, very well kept and very cool. THe concept of shared kitchen is fabulous because it allows you to have the perks of a hotel, the easiness of cooking your own meals, plus running into nice people. Roooms are not huge, but more than comfortable, and view is nice :) Love the staff and the organization of some gathering every day for the guests, e.g., mulled wine, waffles, etc. PLUS location is amazing, next to the station, with opportunity for free parking and in front of the bus for all directions in Engelberg

The bar below sometimes is noisy in the evening, especially in the weekend. Also, shower is poorly ventilated and can be difficult to dry.

Most perfect lodge we could have found. Very comfortable beds, private bathrooms in the room, and the (shared) kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need. Each room key opens an individual fridge so you can securely store all your food and drinks. The host was extremely responsive and made check in a breeze. It’s about 8min walk to the ski lift and there are a lot of restaurants nearby. There’s also a safe for each bed in the room if you want to secure any valuables while you go out. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Parking is very limited. We ended up leaving our car at the ski lift lot overnight (20CHF for a whole day and night) which worked out best anyways.

Everything was far better than expected, the common kitchen is super big and available on 2 floors, you will get seperate fridge per room and storage box in the common kitchen itself. It has a dishwasher which washes dishes in 2 minutes only (super fast). Being an Indian, I can tell you, you can cook anything out there just bring your own indian spices. We a family of 5 with 3 senior citizens, stayed for 2 nights and we didn't want to come back from there. Engelberg is itself an heaven on earth and top of that this hotel's location is just next to the railway station. You can reach the titils cable car by walk in 10 min or by bus (from outside hotel only) in 4 minutes. They provide you everything from travel adapter to nail cutter to playing cards on request. We loved our stay. Thank you so much..

There was nothing to dislike about the hotel. The only very small thing which I didn't like was the owner's atitude, he sounded a bit arrogant (only a bit) :-) but that's ok with someone who has 3 properties in engelberg (he only told me :-)) I can suggest this hotel to anyone, being a family, a couple or a group of friends.

This property surprised us with how nice it is! When I booked a room with three bunk beds for our family of two adults and four teenagers, I thought it might not turn out well. Quite the contrary! We had a beautiful view of Mount Titlis and other mountains from our room. The staff was extremely helpful both in person and by messaging. Our room was big enough for all six of us and the bathroom facilities were great. The kitchen and dining spaces were very nice, although we only used them for eating, not cooking.

It would have been nice to have more, less expensive options for breakfast. We ended up buying pastries from a local bakery.

We've been travelling round Europe interrailing- definitely best hostel kitchen by a mile. Clean, well stocked with everything you need and your own fridge and cupboard. Loved sitting outside eating our dinner and playing cards, looking at the beautiful mountain landscape. Beds comfy. Enjoyed a fabulous walk up into the mountains - maps do not give much in the way of directions - we didn't realise quite what a hard-core climb we were taking on but worth it for the amazing views at the top! Might be worth asking for advice on routes.

Professional and cozy at the same time! Clean, well-equipped, modern hostel. Nice view!! You need to download an app (they will instruct you from the start) which can be very convenient for your stay. Everything from checkin-checkout, room key, breakfast order, to all tutorials, etc. is in the app. We really liked the shared kitchen. A lot of community spirit. Everyone gathered and enjoyed cooking their meals, and left it very clean. Nice experience!!!

Nearly nothing. But only the shower area is quite small and the water can splash everywhere.
