An Unforgettable Stay at Kempinski Palace Engelberg I recently stayed at Kempinski Palace Engelberg, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff’s warmth and professionalism made me feel truly welcome. The property itself is stunning, with a perfect blend of luxury and charm. The dining experience was exceptional—breakfast was a highlight with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The spa and wellness facilities provided the perfect retreat after exploring Engelberg, offering true relaxation and rejuvenation.

The hotel’s central location made it convenient to explore the beautiful town and nearby attractions. I can’t recommend this hotel enough for anyone seeking a luxurious and serene getaway in Engelberg. I look forward to returning! The rooms were impeccably designed, spacious, and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The attention to detail, from the plush bedding to the thoughtful amenities, was remarkable.

The location is perfect, the rooms amazing. Most importantly though, the hotel staff were absolutely amazing. From the moment of check-in, they went above and beyond to make every moment perfect and memorable. Especially the service chef of the restaurant took such special care of us during dinner and breakfast, even arrange a flan for us to take home from breakfast. Speaking of which, massive compliments to the kitchen for that one, everyone should try it!

- incredible staff - beautiful lobby - delicious breakfast - spacious room - was given an upgrade which is always appreciated - excellent balcony with breathtaking views - close to titlis - valet service is great

-I was in a dream while staying there an incredible hotel with everything to my liking until it was time to sleep I was shocked that the bed was damaged and tilted to one side that it was impossible to sleep on it , at that time I was already very tired at the end of the day so I had to manage somehow not to mention those twin beds in such a room are very small and don’t match with the luxury setting of such high standards hotel - I was surprised when I ordered club sandwich that the chicken in the sandwich wasn’t a chicken breast a mistake that usually doesn’t happen

Just amazing from start to finish! Great amenities, super nice and friendly staff, greaaat rooms and super nice facilities. It’s just one of the nicest stays we had in Switzerland.

I would expect the parking to be complementary for hotel guests which wasn’t the case. I understand if the visitors have to pay but as a hotel guest it should not be charged to your room.

In the restaurant for dinner i ask for changing my table because there was a group of 15 people very noisy and i change to an other table and the people were with a I phone video ! with people and it was very awful I dont understand that in your 5 stars palace you didn't say anything !!! people have no education anymore so dont' accept this type of behavior if you like continue having a good image of standing because your hotel is really incredible , nice , and very class thank to you

Amazing property, a descent 5* hotel you would expect it to be. Great attention to details, very kids-friendly hotel - special bath robes, slippers, fun-challenge with a hotel “passport” which you need to stamp in various location to get a gift once you collect all of the stamps. The hotel is very fresh and new - contemporary design of wood, steel and leather. Even Bang&Olufsen Beosound Balance is in the room! Also bear in mind amazing pillow menu.

Everything was perfect!

It is nice and comfortable

The problem is that everyone is a bit stiff and trying too much instead of just being relaxed and make the guests feel comfortable. Sauna area very small for a five star hotel. Breakfast is rich but not always highest quality. Some things that they bring are cold, eggs not poached but hard, waffles which are made with pancake dough, etc.

I loved how they deal with children and focused on them, they treat guests very nicely. On the other side, there is no air conditioning and the weather was a little bit hot and the breakfast was good ( all in small portion ), and most of the desserts contain animal oil .

The hotel is located in a mountainous area and at 8:00 pm it possible to find a restaurant for dinner near the hotel ( hotel food is a bit expensive ) . And the mountain paths was without lights, so it’s a bit difficult to travel this distance at night to search for restaurants or for something else.

Breakfast hospitality, room cleaning service was done 2-3 times a day. We took naps during the day and explored only to return and find out the bed was made AGAIN

More discussion about how mini bar worked. Did not know that the water by my bedside was complimentary. Would have been nice to be aware that Mt Titlis's view was going to be foggy. Later found out the concierge has a camera to know weather up top.
