Stunning location and absolutely gorgeous property on the lake! Fabulous spa!!

Our rooms bathroom was way below standard in terms of privacy and functionality! Shower had a lousy curtain that stuck to you every time you took a shower and no way to use the handheld with getting water ALL over the bathroom floor! NO doors to the bathroom… just and open walkway so no privacy whatsoever if taking a shower or just wanting to let partner sleep in longer without fully exposed to the bathroom! For $1800.00/nite it was the worst room of our 10 day trip and it should have been the best!

Stunning views

Took forever to check-in as the man couldn’t find our reservation. We arrived after 12pm after a wedding, having informed them about our timing in advance. Carrying my sleeping 2 year old in our arms I was hoping for an easy check-in but it wasn’t.

The absolute best things were the view, and the food quality - especially breakfast. The bread, Grand Cru cheese, fig mustard, were the best examples I had across other fine Swiss hotels and restaurants.

The pillows weren't that supportive. The shower stall was very narrow, and the doors flimsy (the sealing trim on one of them fell off. The room cooling wasn't that effective - and I'd worry about staying there in the hotter summer. But the only glaring issue about my stay I felt was the visibly exposed toilet in the bathroom so there was no privacy. in fact, with no doors anywhere in the suite there was no possibility for privacy anywhere.

Staying at the Park Hotel Vitznau was truly a magical experience, it felt like stepping into a fairytale. The hotel is absolutely stunning, with castle-like architecture and breathtaking views that make you feel like royalty. It’s a place where you can truly unwind, be pampered, and soak in the beauty of Lake Lucerne. Almost everything about the stay was exceptional. The service was warm and professional, the setting was serene, and the overall ambiance was luxurious yet relaxed. It’s the kind of place you remember long after you leave. That said, a few details could be refined to match the rest of the hotel’s standard. While the rooms are charming, some of the interiors do feel a little dated a gentle refresh or modern touch could elevate them even further. Additionally, the spa facilities are beautiful but on the expensive side, which may not suit every traveler’s budget. Nonetheless, the experience was nothing short of incredible. If you’re looking to feel like a princess (or prince!) in an idyllic lakeside escape, Park Hotel Vitznau delivers in every way.

Everything!! We loved our junior suite, spa, staff, property and views! It was everything that we hoped it would be!! This hotel is pure luxury in every sense! So much attention to detail and making guests have a memorable experience! The staff is truly top notch in every fashion, catering to your every wish! They picked us up upon arrival from the boat, dropped us off to the cogwheel for Mt Rigi, picked us up, and dropped us off at the train station, even walking us up to the platform and helping us with our bags! Upon entering our room, there was a written note welcoming us, along with some snacks! Our suite had everything we ever wanted in it, including complimentary fridge stocked with wine, champagne and beer! We loved that our suite had a great sound system with speakers!! The bed was super comfy! The spa was spectacular! 3 stories and all the amenities! My massage was so relaxing, and the infinity pool was amazing, backing up to views of the lake! We also really liked the complimentary breakfast! It was delicious! This property is one of a kind… a fairytale!

My husband and were not thrilled with dinner. It just wasn’t like a typical nice dinner in the USA, which was expected.

Silence, calm, harmony, aesthetics, beauty of nature to the accompaniment of meditative comfort. Open space pool is amazing, breakfast/lunch near the lake is a pleasure, very quite in the night and during the day, rooms are cool conditioned in hot weather. Ideal for warm relaxation. Dragon set is 🥰

Hostess woman on breakfast in inner hall forgets details of orders, need to repeat twice and stay hungry more than necessary, so it's better to sit near the lake with fast waitors.

The location on the lake is unbeatable. The views, the spa, the pool, the garden etc are incredible. The hotel itself is a bit “old fashioned” in its design but clean and functional. The staff is helpful for hiking tips and bookings.

It is a stunning place but the service is a bit transactional and “cold”. Breakfast in the garden is wonderful but was never ready, always short staffed and in general everything including drink or food orders (incl. room service) was just slow and below what you would expect from a place like this…

Unforgettable stay in a truly world class hotel, luxury and comfort at its best. The hotel's design is absolutely stunning, modern, elegant, and thoughtfully curated. Every detail reflects exceptional taste and sophistication. The spa and pool area are something out of this world, exquisite food, fantastic location, remarkable staff, beautiful building. This Is a dream hotel!

The service of the restaurants staff could be improved.

Beautifully located hotel right next to the lake. The facilities are exceptional, with a wonderful outdoor infinity pool (heated of course) being one of the highlights. The suites are spacious and offer amazing views of the lake and the snow-capped mountains. The Atelier restaurant combines sublime dishes with excellent service in a refined setting infused with natural light.

The hotel is without fault.

The breakfast was a la carte, and very quick. The surprise call when we were boarding the ferry to inform of the complimentary pick up was wonderful, (I'd somehow missed this option). The walk up through the forest behind the hotel was lovely. Most importantly the room, hotel and spa facilities were incredible.

I could have stayed longer. Perhaps if I'd realised the breakfast was a l carte and not buffet, I would have ordered it to our room. I'd be back to Hotel Park Vitznau in a heart beat if it wasn't on the other side of the world.
