The front office staff were very friendly. Information shared very clear and their language proficiency ezcellent. Staff at restaurant also very friendly and provided good recommendations on menu selection...

Appreciate if they have good signage at weggis where to go. or instruxtions on their site which stop to drop off when.coming.by train and bus. Had a tough time at the train station and had to ask public for help

Hotel Weggis is a little gem of a hotel, set right on the shore of the lake. The views are exceptional and it is well worth paying a bit extra for a lake view. Great location for catching the ferry to explore the surrounding area. The staff are attentive and very friendly. Room is clean and comfortable, We ate at the restaurant both nights of our stay and the food and service was excellent. We would definitely recommend a stay at the hotel and would love to return one day.

Everything was good, but maybe a kettle in the room to enjoy a cuppa looking out at the lake first thing would be nice and we missed a fresh fruit choice at breakfast.

Location to ferry, bus stops and cable car to Rigi : all in walking distance. Lake side location, external restaurant for breakfast , lunch and eve meal. Infinity pool and loungers with drinks service to the pool. All the hotel has been renovated, large bedroom, with seating area, large walk in shower, safe, and fridge. Lift to all floors. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Wide range of breakfast items.

Only 4 coat hangers with no space for full length dresses. Lack of air-con but this is just waiting local council approval. Air con is installed ready to go.

I loved everything. The view was exceptional, like on a postcard, the breakfast was fantastic. The location was spot on. There is parking right next to the hotel. Do yourself a favour and have dinner at the restaurant. Watch the swans and the boats passing by.. This is truly a unique and beautiful setting. Watch the full moon rising over the mountain. 200m away from the boat docking for passenger boats. We stayed for 3 nights and booked for an additional 2 nights. That says it all doesnt it?

Lovely room with balcony with views across Lake Lucerne. Infinity pool (heated) down next to the lake, with access to swim in the lake, should you wish. The hotel is situated on the banks of the lake. Parking available, but not free. Weggis is a lovely, quiet town. Good breakfast, dining room has lake views.

On requesting a kettle (supposedly on offer), it was disappointing to find that the entire stock (four!) had already been issued.

Perfectly situated on the lake with stunning views all round. lovely infinity pool to view surroundings and direct access to lake. Easy access for travel, train to luzern and then ferry across lake very nice. Well proportioned rooms, no air con but get good breezes end of day, large opening windows and balconies. buffet breakfast exceptional for a three star rated hotel.

NO tea or coffee facilities in room but had a fridge, supermarkets not far away

Good hotel in Weggis a great location for access to lake Lucerne and surrounding area. Located in centre of Weggis 5 mins walk from the ferry terminal. Great room on top floor with lake views julliet windows and shower en suite.

shower was a bit small and air con wasn’t working. Breakfast was average but evening meal was good

The hotel is beautiful and the view and setting could not be better! Breakfast was delicious and there was lots of food to choose from!

The staff were not very helpful or friendly with the exception of Tin, the restaurant manager. He was incredibly kind and went out of his way to be helpful.

We liked the wonderful location of the hotel, the big terrace, our two balconies, one facing the lake and mountains, the other facing more lake and the small sailboat harbor. We also loved the great breakfast buffet and most of all the friendly wait staff. We plan to return for sure. Again for a three and a half star hotel, this was the best.

Maybe a little updating of the room.

I fell in love with this hotel. Right on the lake, with lively terrace for breakfast, drinks/tea, dinner. By great good fortune, I had a corner room with a huge terrace. Truly, I did not want to leave. Clean, spacious, comfortable, great shower/tub! And views, views, views!!! Please read in the "negative " section where I refute some others' negative reviews. I'm already planning my next trip!!!

Not a problem for me, as it was lovely, war m-but-not-hot weather, but I don't think there is air-conditioning. I also think price varies based on time of week/year. Midweek in June in Switzerland, it was a more than fair price!!This is an older hotel...but we'll kept. Others have commented on it being run down or lacking services. I totally disagree with that.. The room and public areas were not high style, but attractive, clean, comfortable. . if you are looking for "posh", chain-style, go someplace else!! You'll leave a room open for my return!!!
