Everything was fantastic. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful – always available and smiling. We also loved the food served on the beautiful terrace by the lake – it was truly superb. We really enjoyed our stay and the location is perfect, we visited Luzern and Mount Rigi, both are only 30 minutes away.

Just a small note: the bed was a bit too soft for our taste. Also, parking can be tricky in the evening – there are limited spaces at the property, and the nearby public parking machines do not accept cards. You’ll need either Swiss coins or the EasyPark app, so be prepared, especially if you're arriving late.

I am sorry, but I simply cannot find anything bad in this place…

The hotel is situated in Weggis, just below Mount Rigi and only 2 minutes from the ship departure point, featuring a lakeside. Despite overlooking the street, our room was peaceful as the island is quite small. The location was perfect for exploring the area, including a day trip to Mount Rigi and a boat trip to Lucerne. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the rooms are spacious. The staff provides excellent service, and the breakfast is good. Although the hotel's decor is a bit dated, it certainly offers good value for money for anyone planning a trip to the area or wishing to visit Lucerne.

The bathroom is very clean but small and a little outdated

Love the location of this Hotel and all of the staff were amazing. Would definitely stay again. Gondola is about 8 mins walk uphill, you get a nice workout or it's about 2 mins by car. If you drive, parking could be difficult to get. Restaurant in hotel is great, and a few local places near by. There was a bakery a few meters away as well as a Volg grocery store. There's a ferry that you can take to Lucerne also. Overall, great experience my family and I loved it.

It was a great property and a great location. We had Mountain View‘s which were exceptional and looked out over the small village and church. The stay was comfortable for our family.

The rooms were a little too hot, it would’ve been better if they had some sort of room temperature control. The only other criticism would be that the shower room / bathroom would be great having a fan as it steamed up.

We had a room on the top floor with the most stunning view of the lake and the ferries. The hotel is charming, the staff goes above and beyond, in particular Andrea who is simply amazing, helpful and very much on top of everything going on. We were impressed that at breakfast, which was really very good, how multi-lingual staff was and that they could seemingly speak the language of anyone staying at the hotel! Dinner at the restaurant either inside or on the beautiful veranda was excellent. A calm, safe, peaceful place to stay with the park and waterfront right out the door and everything a short walk away, including the ferry landing.

The hotel is an older hotel and i believe family run. The staff were wonderful and very friendly. It is right on the lake and the lift to Mt. Rigi is a five minute walk behind the hotel. It was very relaxing being able to take the boat across the lake to Lucerne or other towns on the lake. the Lucerne train station is a two minute walk from the boat dock. They have the best WiFi we had the whole trip. the room was very large which a lot of Swiss hotels do not have large rooms.

Staff were really helpful and polite. Reception staff gave us lots of information when we asked questions and let's us know about the area and what it has to offer. Room was clean and tidy also the bathroom. The view was beautiful of the lake sat outside on the terrace. 2 min walk to the bus stop, 5 min walk to get the ferry, supermarket 5 min walk. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful location and view! Room was clean and well appointed with ample closet space. Beds were comfortable and we slept well. The bathroom was clean and shower had good pressure. The room had windows that could open fully to capture the lake breezes. The on site restaurant had just reopened during our stay and the food was delicious at dinner. The seating was on the outdoor terrace and right on the lake. The staff were very kind.

Parking was tight but I think they have an agreement with a parking lot/garage nearby. Nothing to dislike.

Like living in a Wes Anderson set! Everything is so sweet and charming and well appointed. The staff are incredible and determined to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you for making this leg of our traveling honeymoon adorable and perfect! The water pressure is amazing.
