Location is great. Has a wonderfull garden with luzern lake view. Free parking area. I reserved the suite room. It was large enough and well decorated. Has a big private bathroom and big balcony. Sauna is free. Coffe and tea is free all the time on second floor. Receptionist girl was very nice and helpfull. Also the hotel has a very good restaurant.

Restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. But the menü should be updated. We ordered vine from the menu for 4 times. All the times waitress come back and said that they did’t have it. Also all the food we ate was very salty. So I couldn’t eat the main course :(

Beautiful location next to the lake, heritage building gave the warmth and charm of old times with beautiful flowers and landscapes and mountain in the back drop. Conveniently located with connectivity to train station with bus stop being close by. Rooms were spacious, super clean and staff was courteous.

Not all rooms have air conditioning. If you are going in summer, make sure you pick the right room. NO fixed fans in the room but portable ones are available in reception. Unlike US hotels, no hot water kettle in the room or microwave oven in lobby / pantry or common areas.

Amazing location on the lake, with a lovely private garden. Very friendly staff, who were happy to help with any requests we had. Free water and drinks in the room refrigerator, and fresh towels every day. Lovely little spa with a sauna and relaxation area.

Disappointing that we had to pay daily for parking during our stay as it was on the hotel site itself. An extra 100CHF during our stay for our dog which we found quite expensive! (we stayed 5 nights) Tea making facilities in the room would have been nice, rather than the shared lounge area.

Very comfortable room with a really nice view of Lake Lucerne with mountains in the background. Mt. Rigi is just across the lake and there is an unobstructed view of the summit. I don't know the age of the hotel but has the appearance of being old, yet has modern facilities. Breakfast was nice and included hot items. There is a small well-stocked grocery within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. It was geared towards the residents but still had a nice selection of snacks and drinks.

The location is isolated (15-20 minutes from downtown via train or car). The train station is a 5-10 minute walk and runs hourly. The isolated location makes it really quiet but the downside is there is only the hotel restaurant, which happens to be across the street. There is free coffee all day in the hotel, but the offsite restaurant is not really convenient for grabbing a quick breakfast. For other meals it was fine, but you do have to watch the opening and closing times.

The location and view were very good. It was a bit confusing where is reception, etc, then we found right spot. There are like 2 buildings across the road.. Breakfast was very good, staff in restaurant very friendly and welcoming. It was across the road, but it was fine. Room was ok, with perfect view directly from window, but the room wasn’t cozy… but was good. We were lucky, we didn’t have insects in room, but we saw a lot of dead insects on walls and ceiling. The lake is very close 🤣. Very nice area just near water, people can swim and chill. Parking is big and available.

When we arrived, we were understandably tired after several hours of driving and couldn’t immediately find the right place to check in. We went straight to the reception, simply wanting to get to our room and rest a bit before heading to a football game. We weren’t rude, just a bit impatient and focused — certainly not in the mood for small talk. We were quite surprised to receive a comment from the man at reception suggesting we should have behaved “more nicely.” While we understand the importance of being courteous, a bit of understanding and empathy from the reception side would have gone a long way, especially considering we were not rude — just not overly chatty.

Privat acces to the lake. Friendly staff, helping a.o. with info and a swiss power plug and ventilator. The castle like interior was great and the choice between nearby bistro lounge or the high-class quality restaurant. Also near to the small train station

The variety of choice in the high-class quality restaurant accross the street, might be more, with also a number of smaller priced items. We had a wonderfull beef dish for 2 pers. but for 64 CHF p.p. and that we consider is a bit too high although it seems, meat is in Switserland higher priced in general. It might be nice if there are bicycles to go up and down to Luzern (7 Km).

Cosy shato-like hotel, have interesting interior-architecture design ideas implemented, like spiral staircase and labyrinthine corridors with knights armors, wall paintings and helmets in front of the rooms, all in the spirit of some Medieval imagination. Excellent location with direct lake access, great view from our room, very kind and helpful staff.

It was getting very stuffy in the room during the nights, no wind-flow even with fully opened window and front door simultantly. Like other countryside hotels there is no air conditioning in the rooms but just a fan, so we was prepared, but however it was not enough. Probably such situation happen just in several days in the summer, but seems we hit exactly those ones.
