Location is good. The spa is expansive and really nice. There is a great pool with lounging area. I was surprised by a nice size fitness facility which was not advertised, which I’ve added a photo for. They did have fans that helped without air conditioning. Staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating.

The grassy beach connected to the lake is quite small. And the apartments need to be upgraded. They are dark and old. They are not accessible for more elderly family members with steep stairs for sleeping arrangements and no walk in showers, just bathtubs. Found the price for the stay in an outdated apartment too expensive.

Incredible location with beautiful views ok lake Lucerne from rooms, pool , restaurant etc. Great value. We had the 3 bedroom apartment which is the whole top 2 stories of the A- frame portion of the hotel. They have private lake area serviced by bar or bring your own with free kayaks and paddle boards. Beautiful pool and multiple saunas. Great and reasonable breakfast buffet. Very safe. They offer a free private shuttle to local restaurants and to the ferry station. This is a must do to Lucerne but will need to take a 100 franc taxi (family of 6 in our van) to get back after 8pm.

Our 3 bedroom (every bit of 4 bedrooms actually) apt had great views and very spacious with full kitchen and very clean with new carpets and great bedding but realize furnishings and kitchen are older than we are accustomed but we knew that and so clean it wasn’t a problem. Like so many places , no air conditioning so be sure to know your expected temperature

Stunning location with a beautiful view of the lake from the balcony of our apartment. We specifically booked the apartment which meant a separate bedroom for the adults and 2 separate sleeping areas on the mezzanine for our teenagers which was ideal. Slightly dated features but clean and cared for, comfy beds and the provision of swimming towels (in their own bag) and robes was a lovely touch as was the genuine welcome with a drink as we checked in - thank you! Secure underground parking that is free to use. Use of all pool facilities, lido and hotel lakeside beach area is a real bonus - all are lovely and were not overcrowded (easy to get a sunbed or space to lie). Meal in the restaurant was expensive but delicious in the gorgeous outdoor seating area.

The hotel restaurants and those in the surrounding area are lovely but pricey, especially for a family of 4, we booked an apartment and did shop and eat in one night but the facilities provided in the kitchenette were limited so this was not something you could do regularly. There is no AC but fans were provided.

Small, cozy, it looks like the owners live in it themselves. I love and respect this very much. We were getting back from Lucerne late, the children were already asleep, and it was a kilometer away from the bus stop. I called them, they picked us up in a car from the stop. It was very helpful.

Breakfasts. Literally the same thing every day. Chopped tomatoes with cucumbers, scrambled eggs, bacon, cereal with milk, yogurt, fruits, jam, bread, cheese. Only scrambled eggs as a dish.

We had the best 3 nights in this gorgeous hotel located right on Lake Lucerne. The staff were incredible and our room was ready early which was much appreciated with two small children. We ate dinner twice in the delicious restaurant and sat outside on the beautiful terrace over looking the lake and mountains. My kids loved the swimming pool and trampoline. We will definitely return. Loved it!!!

We loved the picturesque setting, the traditional hotel, the two pools, saunas, and private lake front beach. The room overlooked the lake and was perfect for our family of four. They have a well stocked bar and nice wine selection.

Not a negative about the property but for people considering the Gerbi without a vehicle should know it is roughly a 15 minute walk from either ferry port (Hertenstein or Weggis). The hotel does have a shuttle as well as a lot of other amenities not highlighted on the booking.com site.

The breakfast buffet was nice, with a variety of hot and cold dishes. The restaurant was superb, though pricey. It’s worth it to splurge a little during the holidays. The staff are all very friendly. The wellness/spa/heated pools are very clean and wonderful. Love the outdoor heated infinity pool.

This is a good hotel though not exceptional. The bonus is spa, pool and wellness facilities. The area outside of the hotel is lovely for walking

Though, the room doesn`t have air conditioning, there is not even one bottle of water, no kettle neither coffee machine. Hotel looks a bit outdated though still has nice old pension design. Breakfast was ok but with limited choice. Parking available in front of the hotel. Generally it is a nice place but certainly not worth 4 stars and the price

very comfortable room (we had the family suit - lots of space for all), beautiful location, wonderful pool area with a view of the lake, very friendly and helpful staff.

Adding air conditioning to the rooms... Fans added to every room which was helpful, but having air conditioning would be even better

The pools (both the inside and outside ones) offer phenomenal views, are heated to the right temperature, and have nice in-built jacuzzies. This was the main reason for me booking the hotel, and it did not disappoint, quite the contrary. The view was extra lovely also from the room and the breakfast/ dinner terrace. The location is also very good, we hiked to Rigi and it was amazing. The covered private parking is also a nice plus. The personnel is extra caring.

The hotel looks a bit "historic". Well maintained, but not super modernized. That is in the end not a big deal. A slightly bigger deal for me (I am extra picky with this) is not having blackout curtains. I wish more hotels had them/ or at least inform customers if they do or don't have them. I also didn't like the price, but I guess for the location and facilities it is hard to find a better one.
